Percy was still sitting in Tony's lap as he ate breakfast. Tony had a cup of coffee and was slowly sipping on it, as he worked on something on his phone. A small frown on his face.
Percy had a plate of blue pancakes and a glass of orange juice, a bright smile on his face. He had slept well last night.

Tony had spaced out, he was just thinking over the whole moment.
Tony wasn't always comfortable with physical touch from others, even Percy. It just made him uncomfortable and un-nerved, it hasn't always been like that, but it was now. But he craved physical touch and affection at the same time.
It was like a constant battle in his mind.
He wanted to hug the others, well sort of.
He wanted to spend more time with Percy like all of the others did. But he didn't want to scare him off. He was always worried that the boy would know what he did or he would just get scared.

But this moment was proof that Percy wasn't scared, that Percy did want to be near Tony.

"Uncle Tony?" A small voice broke the older male out of his trance.
"Yeah bud?" Tony replied and smiled at him.

"You need some pancakes" percy said matter of factly
"Pardon?.." tong asked confused
"Coffee is not a health and nu-nutri.."

"Nutritious" Steve yelled out from where he was cleaning dishes
'That thing! Breakfast. That's what mummy used to tell herself, and Aunty nat and uncle Clinty" Percy said and crossed his arms as he looked at him.

Tony couldn't help but laugh at that
"okay.. okay, got it, I'll have something for breakfast now. Okay?" He said, trying to please Percy, which it did, the boy smiled brightly and nods.
"You can have some pancakes!" He said excitedly, tiny laughed but nods
"sure thing bud" he would say, not able to resist, as Percy hands him one of the blue pancakes, he ate it, despite not liking pancakes that much, because he could see how happy it made percy. And that's all he wanted, his nephew, even if it's not by blood, to be happy and safe. That what they all wanted, and that's what they planned to do, keep Percy safe, just as Sally would have wanted.. the only thing is, can they keep him safe when his past and future both ensure and promote danger towards his well being.
