We got off the ship and I headed towards the map with Leorio and Kurapika.

"Hmm...I don't get where we're supposed to go" -Leorio

I turned away for a moment and let a strand of my hair breathe in the sunlight.

I nodded and hid my hair back into my hood. (tells answers kinda)☀︎ I started to walk towards the tree.

"Hey, Ember! Where are you going?" -Leorio

"Following my instincts"

~Time skip~

As I was on the hill I could hear someone call my name. I turned around and was met by Gon knocking me over into a hug. I quickly held onto my hood so it didn't fall off.

"How'd you know I was here?"

"Oh we were already going to go this way" -Gon

"And Leorio?"

"Went to the bus" -Kurapika

"He's coming in 3, 2, and 1"

"HEY, GUYS!"

They turned around.

"Leorio? I thought you were going to the bus?" -Gon

"Oh yeah! Well I thought you guys will be lonely without me so I came to tag along"

I rolled my eyes and left.

"Wait up Ember!" -Gon

We walked until we reached an empty village. Just then I heard instruments playing. An old lady and some other people walked out of the door and blocked our path with some type of wooden court stage. The old lady sat down.

"This is the second test before the Hunters exam. I will give you a question and you'll have two options with 5 seconds to answer. When you have your answer you push this button"

Then a man placed a stand with a button in front of us. I could feel the man who was following us smirking so I sighed.

"Come out I know you're there"

"Haha, well, well, well. Looks like you noticed me"

"I noticed you ever since Gon came. Anyway, wanna go first? I'll let you"

"*smirks* Yeah sure okay"

He walked up to the button (You know what happened I'm too lazy to write it)

After the man left I scoffed.

Stupid

"Excuse me let me try the quiz"

"Alright then"

Then the crow cawed meaning the quiz is starting.

"Your daughter and son have been captured and you can only choose to save one. Which would you choose? "A" your daughter or "B" your son"

I stayed silent. I could see in the corner of my eye Leorio scooting towards the wooden planks. as the lady was counting down. When she got to zero Leorio charged after her but Kurapika stopped him.

"Stop we already gave her our answer!" -Kurapika

"Huh?!"

"Silence..." -Ember

Leorio turned to me.

"The answer is silence there isn't a choice. And besides, that path behind you isn't the way to the cedar tree is it" -Ember
