Enemies Working Together

The story starts like any other day. Cassiopeia gets up at 4:30 in the morning and puts on her workout clothes and leaves very discreetly and jogs around the school grounds for two hours before heading back and getting a shower and getting changed into a fancier version of the school uniform. That is what her father always did. He bought her the fancier version of things so she could have only the best. Only the best for the Pureblood Ice Princess.

She went down to breakfast with her twin brother and his stupid goons. When they get there, Draco spots the Golden Trio (as he bitterly calls them when he complains to his sister about them, Ron Weasley, Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger (Cassiopeia doesn't really mind the three of them considering they have saved the school several times now and (her father would kill her for thinking this even if it is extremely deep down) she has always thought that Ron was cute).

Cassiopeia internally groans and leaves to the Slytherin table, leaving her brother and his stupid goons to bullying the three Gryffindors. Pansy Parkinson immediately starts talking to her and she tries to ignore her but she starts talking about how hot Draco looks right now and how the sun is hitting his hair in just the right way.

"Pansy! Please stop! I don't like hearing that talk about my brother. So please leave me alone." Cassiopeia says before standing up and heading to Potions her first class of the day.

She notices the Weasley Twins lurking around the corner and staring at her and the space above her head. She very discreetly looks up and sees a bucket of paint. She again very discreetly duplicates the bucket and sends it flying at the twins and they are now covered in paint that will not wash off. Mr. Flitch walks up and sees the two of them and Cassiopeia standing there.

"Weasleys! Dentention!" He says before dragging the two of them away. Cassiopeia continues on her way to Potions class knowing that Prof. Snape hates it when people are late to his class.

Although he favours the Slytherins, she still hates to be late to any class, something ingrained in her since she was a child. She is the first one to arrive like always and Prof. Snape, who although favours Slytherins, never usually talks to them unless they are Cassiopeia, and Cassiopeia chat for a couple minutes before students come pouring in due to Snape's obvious dislike for people who are late.

He announces that there will be a new seating plan and it will be in immediate effect and will last until OWLs next year. Goyle gets put with Neville Longbottom, Hermione Granger gets put with Pansy Parkinson, which Cassiopeia feels sympathetic towards the Granger girl for this paring, Draco gets put with Harry Potter, Crabbe gets put with Dean Thomas, Blaise Zambini gets put with Seamus Finniagin, Daphne Greengrass gets put with Lavender Brown, which makes Cassiopeia feel bad for Daphne because in her opinion, Lavender is the most annoying girl here at Hogwarts, Theodore Nott gets put with Parvarti Patil, and Ron gets put with Cassiopeia, making her heart race a bit by the fact that she gets to sit with her red-headed crush.

They all move into their new spots and Draco glares at Ron from across the room because he doesn't like that they have to be partners until the end of OWLs. Ron and Cassiopeia work silently together and when Ron reaches for the ingredient Cassiopeia had just prepared for him to put in the potion, his elbow hit the caldron, burning his arm and it ended up knocking over and spilling all over the two. There was a huge puff of smoke. The entire class is in shock at what just happened. When the smoke clears, they see the two unharmed but looking very annoyed with one another.

"How could you be so stupid Weasley?" Cassiopeia yells with a very pissed off look in her eyes. Ron gaps at her like he can't believe she is blaming him for this.

"Me? This is my fault?!?!?!?!" He shouts back just as angry with the tops of his ears turning red.

"You knocked the caldron over didn't you not?" Cassiopeia says sassing him.

"Only because I had to reach to grab the next ingredient which you had on the other side of the caldron so really this is your fault for not moving it closer for me to reach it." He says visually seething.

"It's called open your mouth and ask me for the ingredient." Ron goes to respond when a cold voice cuts through.

"Let's not assign blame right now. Weasley clean up the mess! Malfoy help him and no more arguing!" Snape snaps at them.

"Yes sir." They says in unison. They work silently again only this time to clean up the mess. They have the mess cleaned up by the time the bell rings. Ron leaves with his best friends and Cassiopeia with her friend Daphne. They complain about the other the entire time they are heading to their next class. Nothing bad happens to them until the next morning.....

Oooooh a cliffhanger! Guess you'll have to wait until the next chapter to find out what happened to them! MUHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!
