The next morning, Cassiopeia wakes up the same time she always does and heads downstairs to drink her tea and read the Daily Prophet. Molly comes in and again watches the girl who continues to drink tea and read the newspaper.
"Would you like help with breakfast this morning, Mrs. Weasley?" Cassiopeia again asks and just expects the answer to be no.
"That would be lovely, Cassiopeia." Molly finally agrees to let Cassiopeia help. She puts down the newspaper and helps Molly make breakfast in silence. When breakfast is ready, Cassiopeia takes her seat again and goes back to reading. Remus, Nymphadora, Arthur, and Sirius all come in.
"Morning, little cousin." Sirius says with a grim smile.
"Morning, Sirius." Cassiopeia says, closing the newspaper and handing it to Arthur who scans it and hands it back to Cassiopeia. Harry comes in a couple minutes later and Molly gives hime some food that he barely eats. Soon it is time for him to leave for his hearing.
"Good luck, Harry." Cassiopeia says, quietly and Harry just nods at her. Cassiopeia glances at Sirius who looks really worried.
"Cassiopeia, go wake up the other kids please." Molly asks her and she stands up to do that. She walks up to Ginny and Hermione's room first, shaking them both.
"What do you want, Malfoy?" Ginny hisses and Cassiopeia internally rolls her eyes and looks over to see Hermione waking up.
"Your mum told me to wake you guys." Cassiopeia turns and heads upstairs to where the boys are sleeping. She decides to wake up Fred and George first. She quickly shakes them both and George reacts the same way Ginny did but Cassiopeia repeats that Molly told her to wake them and leaves to wake up Ron. She opens his door and slips inside, closing the door behind her. Cassiopeia smiles softly, seeing Ron sleeping peacefully in his bed.
She quietly walks up to his bed and sits on the edge of it, watching him for a few minutes. Cassiopeia brushes his hair back slightly which causes him to stir but not wake up.
"Ron, you have to wake up." Cassiopeia says, softly shaking his shoulder.
"I don't wanna." He mutters. Cassiopeia lets out a soft laugh at that.
"Come on." She says again, softly shaking his shoulder again. This time, he opens her eyes and looks at her with a tired expression.
"Why do I have to wake up?" He grumbles, sleepily.
"Because your mum said to." Cassiopeia watches as he pulls himself into a sitting position and runs a hand through his hair. Ron rolls his eyes and Cassiopeia just chuckles.
"Only because my mum will be very pissed if I don't wake up." Cassiopeia stands up and is about to leave his room so he can get changed when Ron lightly grabs her wrist and pulls her back to him and softly kisses her.
"Morning, Cass." Cassiopeia feels a small blush spread across her face.
"Morning, love." She whispers before pressing another kiss to his lips before leaving. Cassiopeia heads to her room and just lies down on her bed and hugs her pillow to her stomach with a smile. She replays the kiss in her head and so does Ron as he eats breakfast with his siblings and Hermione. Cassiopeia ends up falling asleep and wakes up to someone lightly shaking her. Cassiopeia opens her eyes to see Ron, smiling down at her.
"It's almost time for lunch and Harry will be back soon." He whispers and Cassiopeia groans, not wanting to get up. She pulls him down so he is laying beside her and curls into his side with her head resting on his shoulder. Ron wraps his arms around her waist and the couple start to doze off when Fred walks by her room and sees the two of them and quickly wakes them up.
"Come on you two. If you don't want Mum to find out, you need to get up." Fred says before leaving the room. Cassiopeia sits up and Ron stands up and the two leave her room and go downstairs to the kitchen. Harry comes in and everyone is happy when he tells them that he got off. Fred, George, and Ginny start dancing in a circle, chanting, "HE GOT OFF! HE GOT OFF!", much to everyone's amusement. Arthur smiles at his children before telling Sirius that he saw Lucius talking with Fudge. This captures Cassiopeia's attention and her mind starts racing to figure out what exactly Fudge and her father could have been talking about. Ron looks over at her with a raised eyebrow after he hears her thoughts, she just shakes her head and Ron doesn't question her yet.
Molly shouts at Fred, George, and Ginnny to stop as everyone sits down to eat lunch and Cassiopeia picks at her food, still thinking about what she heard Arthur said. After lunch, Cassiopeia was about to go back upstairs to her room when Nymphadora stops her and gestures for her to follow her into the drawing room. She does, slightly confused.
In the drawing room, Albus Dumbledore is standing there along with Alastor Moody. The Hogwarts Headmaster smiles at Cassiopeia while Moody looks grim.
"Good afternoon Ms. Malfoy. How are you?" Dumbledore asks, calmly.
"I am alright, headmaster. May I ask what this meeting is about?" Cassiopeia says, politely, eyes flicking between the three older people.
"It is about the bond between you and Mr. Weasley." Dumbledore says, still calm.
"I see that nothing gets past you, headmaster." Cassiopeia says with a wry grin.
"So it exists?" Moody says, gruffly. Cassiopeia nods and explains how it occurred.
"We need to break it." Moody says and Cassiopeia is shocked.
"I though it couldn't be broken, that it was eternal." Nymphadora says, looking just as shocked as Cassiopeia is.
"Not so much as break it as make sure it doesn't hinder you and Mr. Weasley." Dumbledore says.
"How do you plan on doing that? Also why isn't Ron here? He does carry half the bond." Cassiopeia reminds Dumbledore.
"Because lassie, he can't know about what we need you to do." Moody says.
"What do you mean 'what you need her to do'?" Nymphadora says, with a raised eyebrow.
"You want me to be a spy? On my family?" Cassiopeia says, guessing it almost right away.
"You are correct, Ms. Malfoy. I understand you told your father about not caring about blood-status but you will need to tell him that it was a bit of teenage rebellion. That you care about Voldemort's cause." Cassiopeia's mind, for once, is completely blank.
"How am I suppose to keep Ron from finding out? He can literally hear any and all of my thoughts." She points out.
"Dumbledore here is going to teach you occumency. This will help keep Ron from finding out and from Voldemort finding out your true allience and about the bond." Moody says.
"If I choose to accept this, how will I get the information to the Order? And I thought only over-age wizards and those out of school, could join the Order."
"Nymphadora will be your contact and we need your help, Ms. Malfoy." Dumbledore says, watching her with piercing blue eyes.
"No! If she gets found out, they'll kill her! I won't allow you guys to basically send my little cousin to her-" Nymphadora was arguing against Cassiopeia doing this.
"I'll do it but I want it written on paper, that I am your spy. Because when this is over, I do not want to end up in Azkaban because of this. Those are my terms." Cassiopeia meets Dumbledore's eyes and he nods his head and pulls out a piece of parchment that states Cassiopeia is his spy and he and Cassiopeia both signed it with Moody and Nymphadora as witnesses.
