....the next morning, the two wake up and go about their day normally but something is different. The two are sitting at breakfast when Cassiopeia hears Ron speaking as if he just whispering in her ear.
'I freaking hate Snape! I wish he would just stop teaching us potions! Ooooh! Bacon!' Cassiopeia is confused.
'Ronald? How can I hear him? He is halfway across the room.' Just after she thinks this, she sees Ron's head snap up and looking around confused which means that he can also hear her.
They both decide to leave it alone, that it is not worth getting detention to yell at each other from across the room. But when Ron goes all the way upstairs to the North Tower for Divination and Cassiopeia stays on the first for for Charms, they both feeling a small blinding pain in their heads that grows with each second they are in class. They both try to ignore it but soon the pain is so great that they just can't anymore. They both ask to leave to go to the hospital wing for a headache cure which both Prof. Flitwork and Prof. Trewlany give them permission to do.
Cassiopeia arrives first and Mme. Pomfery tells her to sit down on a bed and wait because it will take a couple hours to get the headache cure ready. Then five minutes later, the door opens and Ron walks in and raises an eyebrow at Cassiopeia but doesn't say anything to her. When he explains he has a headache to Mme. Pomfery, she raises an eyebrow and tells the Gryffindor to have a seat, that it will be a couple hours until the potion is ready. He sits on the bed across from Cassiopeia. Neither one of them speaks for the couple hours they are there. Two house elves deliver food at lunch time and dinner time.
After dinner, Harry and Hermione come in along Fred, George, and Ginny Weasley to check on Ron since it was just suppose to be a quick trip to the hospital wing to get a headache cure not an all day affair. They are shocked to see Cassiopeia Malfoy just sitting up in the bed across from him with her eyes closed.
"Just because my eyes are closed does not mean I can't feel you people staring at me." She says without opening her eyes. Before anyone can say anything, the door bangs open and Cassiopeia's eyes flash open and she sees Draco, Crabbe, Goyle, and Daphne all standing in the doorway. She internally rolls her eyes at the impending argument her brother is going to start. But before she can tell him no, she is the only one besides their parents who can really stop him, he starts off.
"Wealseys! Potter! Mudblood! What did you do to my sister?" Draco sneers at them.
"They didn't do-." Cassiopeia gets cut off by Harry.
"We didn't do anything! What did your precious sister do to Ron?" Potter fires right back at Draco.
"How dare you accuse my sister of something? And even if she did, I would congratulating her on messing with a horribly disgusting blood-traitor." He says with a smirk. Cassiopeia rolls her eyes internally at his sentence.
"I didn't do-." Cassiopeia gets cut off once again but by Granger this time.
"Just leave us alone Malfoy! Ron, what happened? You were suppose to get a headache cure! That doesn't take all day." She says bossily making Cassiopeia like her less and less by the second.
"Mme. Pomfrey had to finish making more so I had to wait here." Ron says defensively. What Cassiopeia doesn't get is the whole hearing each other from halfway across the room as if they were whispering in their ear and the massive headache that came out of nowhere. If Cassiopeia had to guess, it had to do with that potion spill but what she didn't know but luckily tomorrow was Saturday so she could go to the library and find out what had happened. They get their headache cure which is kinda unnecessary because the headache was gone which greatly confused the two of them. They both pretended to drink it and put away for the next headache.
