This isn't the first time mattia and y/n had a study date, it's just this time y/n had an extra hard time studying and couldn't concentrate on what mattia would say, but mattia was always patient and tried the best he could to help y/n study

Mattia: y/n are you ok, he asked

Y/n: huh oh yea, you quickly replied looking down at your text book

Mattia: y/n, i know your not you have been more distracted today then any other time we have studied, he said quite worried for you

Y/n: it's just I haven't been getting enough sleep

Mattia: try and get a decent amount of sleep tonight

Y/n: I'll try, you said then letting out a sigh

Mattia knew something else was wrong but didn't wanna force you to tell him, he knew you would tell him when your ready, he then decided to stop with you guys study session

Y/n: what are you doing, you asked

Mattia: I'm ending the session, he replied back

Y/n: I'm sor-

Mattia: it's ok let's go, he said

Y/n: uh ok, you said confused putting the books back in your backpack

You both began walking to your house, you and mattia didn't live to far from each other maybe three or four houses away, once you reached your house you let out a big sigh hearing screaming from inside, before going off to walk to the door, but was stopped by someone grabbing your arm

Mattia: lets go to my house

Y/n: ok, you smiled

You and mattia walked in his house, you said hi to mattias mom before mattia told his mom you were gonna be in his room

Mattia: you can sit on my bed

Y/n: ok, you said with a voice crack as tears streamed down your face

Mattia: hey what's wrong, mattia asked squatting down in front of you

Y/n: i- I'm sorry, you said beginning to cry more

Mattia got off the floor pulling you into a hug, he started to gently rub your back, you cried on him for a few minutes starting to calm down

Mattia: do you wanna tell me now

Y/n: Yea, everytime I come home my house reeks of alcohol and then my parents start yelling at me and throw things at me, I never knew what I did wrong but whatever I did caused them pain, well I started to self harm a few night a week until it got worse and I started doing it every night

Mattia: omg y/n I'm so sorry, nothing is your fault but your parents

Y/n: it's ok

Mattia: how much have they hurt you

You went to the bathroom and you wiped off the foundation on your face you then went back into the room and sit beside mattia again you could see In the corner of your eye you could tell he had worry and sadness in his eyes 

Mattia: y/n

Y/n: I don't want to show you, you will think I'm a freak and I'm ugly

Mattia: no I won't, you are the prettiest girl I have ever seen

Y/n: ok, you said gently turning your head to face him he put up his hand and you flinched

Mattia: it's ok I won't hurt you, he said putting the rest of his hand on your face

Y/n: I didn't tell you any of this because I thought you wouldn't want to talk to me anymore

Mattia: of course I would, it's not your fault that this happened to you

Y/n: Mattia I love you so much, you said before hugging him again

Mattia: I love you too and will do anything to protect you

Y/n: you will

Mattia: Yes, you mean so much to me and I love you so much

Y/n: I love you too, this might be the wrong time but will you be my boyfriend

Mattia: Yea, he said giving you a kiss on the forehead

Mattia let you change into something of his, you both laid down on his bed and instantly you fell asleep he stayed up a little longer admiring you he placed a gentle kiss on your head before falling asleep
