AURORA LOOKED AT HERSELF IN the mirror with a smile, satisfied at how she cleaned up well. She twirled around and Alice who sat at one of the bed, giggled.

"How do I look?" Aurora asked, twirling around.

"You look pretty, Rory. Breathe taking actually.." Alice said with a giggle.

Aurora was wearing a purple dress, with a white ribbon belt on the waist line. A pair of star earrings Mary had gifted her, dangling on both her ears. A light colored lipstick smudge on her luscious lips. Her platinum blonde curled into locks.

Her make up was light, but she was beautiful.

"Sorry, the self consciousness is getting unto me." she touched her cheeks.

"Why?" Alice asked confusedly, and the girl huffed exasperatedly.

"Our Aunt Mada's a pain. She's been indirectly judging me. I'm her favorite niece, I wish I wasn't though." Aurora sighed and the Fortescue girl couldn't help but giggle at what she had suffered this Christmas.

"Well, you look gorgeous nevertheless." Alice exclaimed as she stood up.

She approached Aurora and placed both hands on her shoulder.

"Now, let's head downstairs." Alice said and she nodded.

Most of the girls were downstairs already, whereas Alice and Aurora remained in the room to finish some touches on their looks.

They descended down the stairs linked in arms. The conversation down stopped to acknowledge the girls arrival. The boys nodded in approval and awe.

And the girls appreciated how well their friends cleaned up.

Remus on the other hand was focusing solely on one person. The certain platinum blonde who descended with a gracious smile on her lips. He was awestruck at the sight.

They made eye contact and Aurora offered him a shy smile, and he blushed, quickly glancing away.

When they arrived down, they were practically bombarded with overflowing compliments.

"My, you two look brilliant!" Marlene threw her arms around both of them.

"Bloody beautiful!" Sirius grinned.
