THE REST OF THE WEEK PASS BY, it was a hard task going back to being friends even after accepting your feelings for them. But Aurora and Remus managed it.
It was awkward at first, but soon they started to just go back to their usual teasing and jokes then it seems like everything went back in place.
Still, there was still a swift change of atmosphere that you almost could notice - its uncomfortable and stiff - stayed into the tension of their air.
The sting of being around with each other, considering other nothing more than just friends is a hard part.
Not only for Aurora but also for Remus, who is still confuse with these profound feelings he has for the girl.
But nonetheless, everything just seems normal. They were getting better in trying to ignore as if their vulnerable confrontation didn't happen.
The wind brush through the trees, shifting it's leaves. The sun showers the whole grounds clearly, chirping of birds and quiet murmurs of waters in the Black Lake.
Finally, it was Saturday.
The girls - with the exception of Lily and Mary - decided it was nice to gather around beside the lake and just relax. Well, it was for Marlene's words. Aurora and Alice on the other hand...
"Marlene! Stop lounging around and do your homework!" Alice scolded at the short blonde, who scoffed.
"Alice, this is a day far too beautiful to waste it on doing school works." Marlene said with a chilled sigh.
"..McGonagall will have your head if she hears you say that." Aurora said nonchalantly, dipping her quill on the ink bottle then continued working on her Charms homework.
"Plus, you haven't done your Potions essay and didn't you remember that five page explanation about the vanishing spell Professor Flitwick taught us about? And also you haven't done your essay about Devil Snare-"
"Ugh! Don't keep on reminding me, Rory." Marlene groaned and she shrug, going back to writing.
"Why do we have so many homeworks, how can they do this to their own students? This is mental abuse! How can we finish all of those in the spam of one day!?" Marlene whined and Aurora rolled her eyes but said nothing. The homework these past few weeks had really been... a lot.
But it was understandable since the school year is almost coming to an end in one and a half more months. Aurora suspects these are because of their upcoming OWLs exams.
