As Ophelia went out to the other side of the alley, she paid no mind to the people who were looking at her. She tightened the grip of her sword and look for the stable. As she was walking she noticed that a woman with a very extravagant dress was staring at her, Ophelia scan at the lady's carriage, looking for some insignia. And she could tell that the woman is a noble omega, based on how she stands and her clothing, she ignored the woman's staring and went to the nearest stand she could see to hide her suspicions away. She pretends to look around at the stand until the woman went inside of her carriage and drove away. But before it leaves her and the woman stared eye to eye, heterochromia met olive green. And then the carriage drove away.
Ophelia took the first item she saw and purchase it then walked away. It took her a couple of hours to find the stable she was looking for and told the store manager that he will be taking her horse. Then began to gallop away from the capital. As her horse gallop away, she looks at the item she purchased and examine it, it was a bracelet that has a moon decorated with a red ruby gem in the center. The color of the gem was mesmerizing and decided to wear it. After putting on the bracelet she took a deep breath and compose herself despite the hectic day that happened to her within a day.
A few hours later she has arrived at the Blainton resident, and she calmed her horse then trotting to the stable of their house. She arrived at the stable and went down to off her horse. She put her horse in the cage in deep thought, feed her horse, and went inside the cozy house. She instantly went inside her room after putting the swords and book away she lay down on the mattress, seconds turn to hours. She mindlessly looks at the ceiling, trying to comprehend what happened. Without notice, her door opened and Layla her mother figure went inside and sat down beside her.
"From the looks of it, it seems like you are conflicted about something. Care to share?" Layla combs Ophelia's hair with her fingers, making Ophelia relax and hum in pleasure. Ophelia was not sure if she should tell Layla that she was almost caught by the knight who was looking for her—'I think it's better to not tell them, not because she doesn't trust them but she doesn't want them to worry too much about her'
"It's nothing, it is just that I found out that there is a noble omega, did she went to the rehabilitation like us? Or something?" Ophelia lie—'she was not lying since it did happen to her'
"Well, there is some omega paid their way out get out of the rehabilitation and some are too influential enough to not be put in the rehabilitation," Layla explained not noticing Ophelia's half-lie, this made Ophelia sigh in relief at the same time frustrated
"It is not fair though like some went into pain and suffering while they get to live in a luxury life? I know everyone doesn't deserve to live in such a way but I just can't help but complain" Ophelia complained while her eyes still close avoiding contact with Layla.
"Well, you complain later. It is dinner time. You can tell us what happened to you during your journey" Layla said with a smile. This made Ophelia sat up look at her window, it is indeed dark outside then proceed to follow Layla to the Dinner table. While heading to the kitchen they ran into Zack who is dripping wet from sweat.
"Zack, we told you to stop training because it is dinner, do please look presentable." Layla scolded Zack, making Zack grumbled and replied in confirmation. As Layla began walking again Zack looks at Ophelia and mouthed 'we will talk later. Ophelia nodded as a reply then went ahead to the dinner table. After waiting for Zack to arrive in a more presentable and clean appearance they began to eat. They talk about Ophelia's journey however lied about not having too much action about what happened to her day then they eat in silence.
"We shall clean the dishes, I know that Zack is worried about you Ophelia. So why not go ahead and talk?" Layla ushered Ophelia away from the table.
