Akaashi groaned in frustration as he put his pen down for the tenth time.

He had been trying to read understand these notes for about half an hour now but he just couldn't focus. The nagging desire to know his admirer's identity was stubbornly occupying his mind.

It seemed stupid to disregard all the evidence that y/n could possibly be his admirer. But at the same time, it felt too good to be true.

He gets rejected then suddenly finds his admirer less than 5 hours later? It didn't seem possible.

Not to mention that if it turned out that she actually was his admirer that would bring a whole other bunch of problems.

On one hand, he wanted it to be her. Because otherwise, it wouldn't be fair to his would-be admirer to have their identity revealed only to find out that he was falling in love with another girl.

On the other hand, if it was her then he had already done that exact thing. He asked her to bring Jenny to his game, to let her eat with them and even for advice to go on a date with her.

Just imaging the amount of pain he must have put her through made him physically sick.

But of course the universe sought to punish him further. It was then that yet another heart breaking thought occurred to him. This situation sounded extremely familiar. Akaashi cursed loudly as he remembered that it was just like the story that y/n had written.
