The next day Lucy was playing around with Felix because Pan had told him to watch her. Felix didn't mind it all. He loved spending time with Lucy even if that meant braiding his hair. Lucy loved doing new things with Felix. He was patient with her, he listened to her when she needed someone to talk to. Felix was her friend and big brother.

"Felix look what I found" Lucy said and ran up to Felix with a flower in her hand
Felix bent down so he was eye level with Lucy.

"What did you find Lu?" He asked her. Lu was his nickname for her.

"I found this flower" She said and brought the flower up to Felix so he could get a closer look at it.

"You did all by yourself?" Felix asked her in a teasing voice.

"Yes I did. I can find a flower by myself" She said and stuck her tongue out . Felix loved to tease her because she looked so cute when she tried being all mean and tried to look bigger then she was.   

Felix played with Lucy all day till it was time for the plan to go to work. Peter Pan came later on and got his daughter and told Felix what he was going to do. There was no one other than Felix he trusted with his daughter then himself. Pan prepared himself and made himself look like a lost boy so he could trick the truest believer.

Lucy was in her tent because that's where Pan had told her to stay but she didn't always listen to her papa. But when her papa told her it was dangerous and that she could get hurt, she actually listened to him this time, waited for him and the lost boys to come back.

Lucy waited a long time for her papa and the lost boys to come back. Then she heard the special whistle she and her papa came up with that no one knew. Lucy ran out from her tent she shared with Pan. When she came out she looked at all the boys to see if everyone was there but it was one boy who stood out. Lucy looked at him and she thought he looked strange. The way he dressed was nothing she had ever seen before. 

The boy looked her way and saw that she was looking at him. The boy was shocked. What he had read about this place was that there were no girls on Neverland. Pan saw him looking at his daughter and he became furious. He hated when someone looked at his daughter. He wanted to keep her out of this so she wouldn't get hurt. She needed to be alive if he was going to succeed with the plan. "Saving himself, his daughter and Neverland" Nothing else mattered to him.

Pan walked to the boy with an arrow in his hand and close behind him was his daughter. A lost boy came up to Pan with a bottle of liquid and in the bottle was a deadly poison called "Dreamshade".

It's a magical plant that is native to Neverland. Once a person is infected with its poison, they experience a slow and agonizing death.

Their death would be slower and far more painful and the person will die as soon as the poison reaches their heart. But there is one cure and it only exists in Neverland. The spring of Neverland, but if the person drinks from it and leaves the island, they will die again as soon as the waters' effects are gone.

Pan handed the boy a crossbow and an arrow. He was going to shoot an apple off Felix's head and the tip of the arrow was dipped in dreamshade. Pan told him that it was a motivation not to miss. Pan called Felix over and Lucy became sad. What if this boy missed and shot Felix. Lucy didn't want Felix to die. She had heard of Dreamshade but never what it was for or what effect it had. Pan only said that it was a poison and very bad and if she ever saw it she would walk away.

But Lucy knew that her papa would never let Felix get hurt or die and she believed him. The lost boys started chanting for the boy to shoot.

"You won't hit him. Trust yourself." Pan said and took some steps away from the boy and stood beside Lucy.

Lucy clung on to his leg and waited for what the boy would do. She saw the fear in his eyes and that he didn't want to do it.

The lost boys stopped chanting for him and instead they waited for the boy. The boy aimed the crossbow and turned around. He fired the arrow at Pan instead of Felix. Lucy took a sharp breath in because the arrow was close to her but Pan caught it before it could hit him.

The lost boys started to cheer and laugh for the boy but Pan wasn't so happy about it. Pan masked it with a smile and tried to look like it didn't affect him, but it really did.

Pan looked down at his daughter who still had a firm grip on his leg. He patted her on her back and she let go of her hold and looked up at him.

"Everything is going to be okay" He told her.

"You trust me?" He asked her next. Lucy had a wide smile on her face.

"I always do and always will. You know that" She told him. Lucy always trusted him matter what he did. Pan knew he could count on his daughter but he knew that she was not safe on Neverland anymore. Because the Evil Queen was on his Island and he knew she would do anything to get what she wanted. But Peter Pan never fails.
