~Chapter 3~

"Will you guys stop throwing food around like children?" Techno snapped at Quackity and Sapnap, who were in the middle of a food fight.

Dream could tell that Techno was uncomfortable around the energetic group and decided to help him out.

"Hey Techno, can we go outside for a second?" Dream said, quiet enough so only Techno could hear him.

Techno looked at him apprehensively but followed him out anyway, ignoring the strange looks from everyone else.

"So what did you want?" He asked, leaning against the wall with his arms crossed.

"Nothing, I just thought you looked uncomfortable in there so I brought you out here for a bit of fresh air and some quiet. Sorry," Dream muttered, staring at the ground.

"Don't be sorry, I suppose I kind of appreciate it," Techno mumbled, Dream looked up happily and smiled at him.

Technos face heated up and he hastily added, "That doesn't make us friends or anything though so don't get ahead of yourself."

Dream nodded and went to stand next to him on the wall, "So Wilbur's your brother?"

"Twin brother actually."

"How does that work?"

"What do you mean?"

"Well your American and he's British."

"I'm British as well but I moved out here a while ago and picked up an American accent fairly quickly, my family missed me and decided to move out here with me."

"Your family?"

"Yeah my dad and my younger brother are here as well," Techno stopped talking and looked at Dream.

"Uh, Techno?"  Dream asked noticing that Techno had stopped talking abrubtly.

"Why do you want to know about my family?" Techno asked suspiciously. "Do you work for the government?"

Dream stood up hastily and was about to defend himself when he heard the diners door open.

"Are you guys alright out here?" Wilbur asked, walking over to Techno and placing a hand on his shoulder.

"I should probably head back inside now," Dream said, rushing back inside.

"Are you alright?" Wilbur asked worriedly.

"I'm fine, I think I scared him a little though."

"Oh god, what did you say? Was it something about orphans?"

"No it wasn't about orphans, I asked if he worked for the government."

"You asked your crush if he works for the government?" Wilbur asked, chuckling slightly.

"Hes not my crush!" Techno shouted, blushing.

"Uh huh, sure."

"I'm going back inside," Techno grumbled walking back to the table with Wilbur behind him, giggling.

~After eating~

"Do you want to drive back with us Dream?" Wilbur asked as he, Techno and Ranboo walked to their car.

"Um sure, let me just just go tell Sapnap." Dream walked over to Sapnaps very full car and tapped his shoulder.

"Hm?"

"Um, I'm going to ride with Techno if that's okay with you?"

"Yeah of course its okay, have fun." Sapnap winked at Dream and got into his car leaving Dream flustered at his remark.

"Dream, you coming?" Wilbur shouted, climbing into the drivers seat.

"Yep," Dream half heartedly shouted and walked over to the car and got in, sitting next to Ranboo with Techno in the passenger seat and Wilbur driving. 

Wilbur started driving and Dream rested his head against the cool glass of the window and watched the warm light of the street lights light up the roads.

"So how has your first day of college been, Dream?" Wilbur asked, trying to start a conversation.

"Its been good, although it would have been hell if classes hadn't been cancelled."

"Yeah I bet, Techno mentioned that you seemed stressed when you bumped into each other."

"Literally," Ranboo spoke for the first time since Dream had met him.

"Yeah, I've been pretty busy lately and very stressed so being late just added more stress."

"With your channel?" Techno asked, staring straight ahead.

"Uh yeah, I've been working on an SMP with my best friend."

"You play Minecraft, are you a youtuber?" Ranboo asked, sounding genuinely curious.

"Mhm, yep."

"He seems to have quite the amount of subscribers," Techno said.

"And how would you know?" Wilbur said, smirking.

"I- shutup." Techno grumbled, looking out of the window to hide his blush.

"Are you all minecraft youtubers as well?"

"Yeah, everyone you've met today is." Wilbur said, leaving Techno alone for a while.

"We should definitely play together some time." Dream said.

"Of course," Ranboo said cheerily.
