"Hey Dad," Techno said, pulling Dream over to the table and sitting down.
"It's nice to meet you Dream," Phil said, gesturing for Dream to sit next to Techno.
"You too..." Dream trailed off, sitting down.
"You can call me Phil."
"I'm Tommy, but you can call me Big Man. Everyone else does," Tommy said loudly.
"The only person who calls you that is yourself," Techno said.
"Be quiet pig," Tommy said, sticking his tongue out at Techno.
"Techno be nice, Tommy don't call your brother a pig," Phil said passing out the plates of homemade pizza.
"Sorry Dad," They both said in sync.
"Is Wilbur not coming?" Techno asked, taking his knife and fork in hand.
"He is, I think he might be bringing his boyfriend along as well," Phil said sitting down.
"YESSS!" Tommy yelled.
"God Tommy, your such a simp," Techno said teasingly, cutting into his pizza.
"Says," Tommy said, looking at Dream.
"Why on earth are you using a knife and fork to eat pizza?" Dream asked, completely oblivious to Tommy's implication.
"Because I want to," Techno said.
"Weirdo," Dream said giggling. Techno blushed and looked down at his pizza.
"We're here!" Wilbur shouted, slamming the door shut.
"We're in the kitchen," Phil yelled.
They heard two pairs of footsteps walk down the long hallway and into the kitchen.
"Schlatt!" Tommy yelled.
"Hey Big Man," Schlatt chuckled.
"See Techno, Schlatt calls me Big Man," Tommy said smugly.
"Yeah yeah, whatever."
"Oh, hello Dream. Didn't expect to see you here," Wilbur said politely.
"Hi Wilbur," Dream replied, waving slightly.
"What on earth happened to you since I last saw you?" Wilbur asked eyeing up all of his injuries.
"I fell down the stairs and got beat up," Dream muttered.
"And he won't even tell me who beat him up so I can kill them," Techno grumbled.
"Calm down Techno, there's no need to go that far," Phil said soothingly.
Wilbur and Schlatt sat next to each other and dug into their food, "Can you at least tell me why they beat you up?"
"Do I have to?" Dream said avoiding eye contact with Techno.
"I just want to know what their reasoning was, you've only been at the school for two days so I don't know how you already got on somebody's shit list," Techno said.
Dream sighed and ground his teeth together, "They called me names because of my crutches and then they called me a homophobic slur because they saw us together. And then they proceeded to beat me into unconsciousness."
Everyone at the table fell silent, all eyes apart from Dreams drew to Techno. He stood up abruptly, stormed out of the room and out of the house.
"Shit," Wilbur said, getting up.
"Leave him alone for a bit Will, we know where he's going anyway so no need to worry for now," Phil said.
