I've been cut off from society for 10 years. This isn't some, "Oh, my parents won't let me have any social media," it's a kidnapping. When I was 5 years old, my life changed forever.

One of my earliest memories is of my sister. We used to play together outside- usually pretending to be royalty, or wizards, or something like that. Now as I look back I recognize the same jogger going past us, or the same car. Hindsight is a dangerous game, isn't it... Anyways- this one time we were playing that we were princesses in a castle. The man walked up and I remember we were both nervous. He started asking us questions- were our parents home, did we have any other siblings or a babysitter, things like that. We were both really freaked out by this dude and one glance at each other said we were both going inside.

"Sorry mister," I remember saying. "My mommy wants me inside now." We moved to go back inside but before we even took a step he grabbed my arm. I looked up at him as he yanked me into his car and drove off. The last glimpse I saw of my home was my sister sobbing in the front yard, running to our house.

It's been 10 years since then. The... the things that take care of me haven't told me anything. I sit in this stone room day after day, eating, sleeping, carving on the walls with my dagger. I've had it since my 5th birthday- when my sister got her choker chain. Ever since I was kidnapped I've felt... drained. Like a part of me was missing. Then one day it all changed. For once I got actual homemade food- not the stupid cheap prepackaged stuff they usually give me. I guess this should've been suspicious- but I wasn't about to pass the chance of having real food. I woke up later in a cave, tied to a rock with a few others. I didn't know how long I'd been asleep, or where we were, or who these other kids were.
