What's up, person. I'm Aurora, you can also call me Rory. Let's just say my life hasn't exactly been easy so far. I learned I was a demigod when I was eight years old and I accidentally turned a bully into a pig. Yes, a pig. It's a Greek mythology magic thing. So the day that happened everyone seemed to forget but after school someone that I later learned was a satyr took me to a camp and I haven't left in the nine years since except for quests. I'm too dangerous and unpredictable, one of the most powerful demigods in this generation, even though my mom is Iris, a minor goddess (although my grandmother is Hecate).

Although the most important power I have is my foresight. Ever since I first used my powers I have been seeing more and more glimpses of the future, and this year I am finally old enough to inherit the Oracle of Delphi. I'm actually quite excited.

On the first day of summer I wake up before sunrise, put on an Ancient Greek style dress and sandals because I was told to, and head to the easternmost part of Camp, right by the beach. Chiron is already waiting. As the sun comes on the horizon another person appears. Apollo.

He simply asks, "Aurora Rose McDonell, do you accept the spirit of the Oracle of Delphi?"

I bow and reply, "Yes I do." Then Apollo snaps his fingers, my hands glow gold for a second and he says "There. Ta da, new Oracle. You know, I don't think we've ever had a daughter of Iris as an Oracle so that will be interesting."

I'm already not a fan of my new boss.

The first thing I want to do when I go up to the attic of the big house is clean it. Like, big time. It's dusty, old, smells like mothballs, and overall looks like a grandma lives here. In fact, Hecate would probably love this place.

But before I have any time to update this room or even breathe, I feel like I'm about to vomit. But instead of puke, what comes out of my mouth is words.

"A new kind of Half Blood will rise

But beware for among us is a spy

Seven will set out with the next sun,

Two states up they must run.

The battle will ensue at last

When the 7th wheel finds his other half.

The antagonist is someone old,

Who was followed until his knowledge broke.

The daughters of the sea will need all their strength

Shadow and ice will need to coalesce

The son of the sea must hone his power

And finally the daughter of wisdom will see clear."

Was that a prophecy?
