This one shot is set during falcon and the winter solider. Possible spoilers ahead

"As much as I'd like to believe you, I think it's best if I speak to him Buck! you wait out here with Sam!"
Sam nodded in agreement
"Alright, but be careful, and follow the plan"
"Of course"

Baron Zemo. personally I'd never met him, I wasn't an avenger during his time, he drove the team apart, he wasn't like any other villain the team had gone head to head with , he was smart and knew he wouldn't stand a chance in a battle, I had heard countless story's off him, Warned of him, but here i was about to bargain and break him out of jail.

"Baron Zemo?" I said entering the room where he was held
"My names y/n I'm sure Barnes has been in contact"
"Indeed" he answered
"So you've heard his proposition?"
"I have"
"Are you in?"
"Depends, what's in it for me?"
"Seriously?"
"Seriously!"
"Doing something redeeming"
"I don't desire redemption youngling"
"You'll get to leave this crappy cell"
"That is more appealing, however y/n I'm not an idiot, I know the second I have finished my task I will be thrown back into this crappy cell"
"you can either pluck up all your arrogance and help us or you can rot in here alone, the choice is yours"

"Hey boys what'd I miss" I said re- joining Sam and Bucky
"I was walking Sam here threw a hypothetical"
"Ah yes I see"
"Somethings telling me this isn't a hypothetic-"
"Sam don't freak out" Zemo had walked through the doors in-front of us, Sam froze then eventually yelled
"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE BUCKY , Y/N?!"
"He can help Sam" Bucky moaned
Zemo was now stood in front of us wearing a police officers uniform, he was out
"YOU'RE GOING BACK TO PRISON"
"If I may"Zemo interrupted
"NO" Sam and Bucky yelled in Unison making me chuckle
"Apologise"
"Sam he can help us, he knows everything about hydra"
"I'm not okay With this
"Nobody's is, trust me the last thing I want to do is spend my time with a snob like him" my comment made Zemo raise and eyebrow and say
"I like that one"
"Shut up" I yelled "come on Sam, with me you and Bucky he'll never get the chance to plot against us"
"Fine" I smiled at Sam who rolled his eyes
"Excited to be working with you mr Wilson" Zemo nodded "shall we discuss my payment for helping you on your quest?"
"Zemo you've got a lot of nerve" Bucky pipped up
"Maybe, but I will not be toyed around, I have morals"
"Bloody hell what do you think we are going to make you do?!" Bucky said raising his eyebrows
"You can never be too careful mr Barnes"
"Just don't try anything" Sam added
"I wouldn't dream of it"
"Well alright" Sam nodded crossing his arms

On the jet:
"Oh so you're rich rich" I asked
"indeed, before the avengers destroyed my country there would have been more, you see I'm a Baron y/n"
"You a baron?" I duly asked
"Yes, believe it or not I had a life before I was locked away"
I nodded
"Would any of you care for a drink?" He asked
Everybody stayed silent
"I haven't spiked them, if that's what your wondering"
"I'll take one"
"ah yes y/n the life of the party" he said handing me a glass
I turned to Bucky "has he always been like this?"
"Sadly yes"
Oh boy it's going to be a rough couple of weeks
