4一 twenty questions and philosophical inquiries

MIDORIYA IZUKU WAS MANY THINGS, but stupid was not one of them. Perhaps naivety was a trait that he possessed, but definitely not stupidity. Therefore the current situation had him in a bit of a shock.

Oh, he'd finished his homework and went through the rest of his day without a hitch, but such actions were done more on autopilot rather than having his brain involve itself.

Staring down at the fresh, clean pages of his Hero Analysis for the Future notebook number fifteen, pencil in hand and eyes lost as he stared at the wall, the ninth welder of One for All couldn't bring himself to jolt down a single word.

Was what he saw true? Or were his eyes playing tricks on him at the time? It wouldn't be a first, given the lesson he'd had that day and how utterly fascinated he'd been by Midnight's lecture.

He could dismiss it, but what if it was real? What if Nation Ranked Hunter Sung Jin-Woo was really there? What if he was still alive?

Having been stood sitting at his desk for at least an hour or so, the freckled teenager dropped his pencil and headed towards his bed.

Up until falling asleep, his mind was filled with 'what if's.

HAWKS COULDN'T REALLY EXPLAIN the situation even if he'd known how. And believe him, he desperately wanted to find a resolution to at least soothe his frazzled nerves. Not even the drumstick in his hand could really hold his attention as he dazedly nibbled on it.

His eating partner, on the other hand, seemed as unbothered as a butterfly mingling amongst blooming flowers.

Hunter Sung Jin-Woo 一in the actual flesh!一 had answered all of his questions, not even a twich to his face to betray him of lying in his responses. The man had been as honest as they come, and that was rare. When asked about the sincerity of his words, the Korean simply said, "Why would I lie? It's not like I particularly care if this gets out." Which said a great deal about both his character and the power he had without actually intending to sound boastful.

Snapping himself out of his slump, Keigo deigned to eat the food his older counterpart provided without a fuss. He wasn't one to turn down free food, no matter the circumstances.

All in all, the young hero could find the humour in this situation. The hunter had not been recognised in the least by the people walking the streets of Fukuoka as he entered the shop and took their takeout, all the while he had to remain on the rooftop of a neighbouring building as to not attract attention.
