15一 the shadows are alive
༻𖥸༺
AIZAWA HAD NOTICED IT. THE SHADOWS curling around corners when he passed them, caressing his shoes. Sometimes it felt as though they were playing with his hair and breathing down his neck. They touched him, seemingly skin on skin, not unlike a predator would torment their captive pray 一 constantly reminding him that his life was but a snap of fingers away from ending.
They didn't feel malicious, but the sense of danger was consistently there, a background hum to his every day life. Perhaps it was because of his instincts honed over the years as an underground hero that he could sense that air of impending doom looming all over the spaces he visited. All things aside, he was more than confident in his conclusion of where, or rather who, these shadows came from.
The big display with the giant wolf from that meeting not even three days ago was all the evidence he needed, to be fair.
Hunter Sung Jin-Woo一 and he was a hunter still, no matter how much he was praised as a hero 一had made it very clear that any information about Eri being given out to uninvolved parties would be met with swift retribution. Given what he was about to do, it might or might not get him into hot water with the Korean man. But really, he couldn't ignore this issue any longer.
So when his resident problem child Midoriya came through the door, a jittery mess as usual, Aizawa couldn't help but notice the way darkened tendrils of energy followed his student's steps just as they did his. His first though was 'What?' which he considered fully justified. Then came his second though of 'How far in has he sent his minions?' whose answer options were not really all that comforting.
Concealing a sigh behind his capture weapon, the Erasure hero figured that if the teenager was under watch, then his previous stress over the issue was a moot point.
Well then, time to reassure a worrywart of a student. (He would forever deny doing it because he didn't like the sight of Midoriya so downtrodden.)

TEKEYAMAYU, WELL KNOWN TO THE public as the daylight hero Mount Lady, was what you would call a flirt. She knew she was pretty, she knew she was hot and she know how to get a man wrapped around her fingers with a bat of her eyelashes, much to the exasperation of her male coworkers. But she grew up as a practitioner of the mentality of if you've got it, flaunt it. And she definitely had it.
So when a man who could have possibly been the most handsome specimen of the opposite sex she had ever seen gave her a bland "No, thank you." to her advances, her ego definitely took a heavy blow. It didn't help that Kamui Woods was there to witness the moment. While the wood themed hero was too polite on a general basis to outright laugh at someone, she could see it in his eyes how he was holding himself back from wheezing in her face.
