( Dante's POV )
I was standing on the side part of where the duels would take place at inside the castle because I heard that Pegasus was gonna hold a duel for the people that were able to make it here today. But I was curious on why he would do it right now, since I'm the only person who collected all 10 star chips and no one else has so far. But then I started to a lot of footsteps on my right side, and then.
??: Hey isn't that.
I looked to see who they were, and it was who I hoped would be here.
Joey: Dante.
Dante: Oh, hey guys. When did you get here?
Yuri: We just got here right now. How long have you been here?
Dante: I got here like, I think 3 days ago.
Joey: 3 days ago?! You've already been here that long?!
Dante: Yea, I was actually kinda surprised you guys didn't get here first.
Yuri: We would've gotten here sooner, but... something came up.
Dante: Oh, well hopefully this can take you mind off it. Because a duel was gonna take place, and it's between someone you know Yuri.
Yuri: Someone I know?
Dante: Just look down there.
They all looked down from the ledge we were on, and looked surprise when they saw who was there.
Dante: The world champ Kaiba, vs the creator Pegasus.
Yuri: Wait those two are gonna duel?
??: That's correct.
We looked to see who said that and it was an older guy with grey hair.
Croquet: Welcome finalist, I'm Croquet chief tournament Liaison. Welcome to Pegasus' castle. Though it seems like some uninvited guests have let themselves in. Well, I'll let it slide this time. In any case, a special performance has been prepared for the ones who have survived their matches in Duelist Kingdom. To show his appreciation of your entering this tournament, master Pegasus has prepared a special match for our guests. You will all simply participate as observants.
Mai: He just wants to show us how strong he is...
Croquet: Well now, that may be the case indeed
Joey: So he's just looking down on us then.
Dante: But at the same time, it gives us a chance to see what plays he does.
Croquet: That depends if you can actually use it against him though. But for now, take your time and enjoy watching this special match.
He left and we looked back down to Kaiba.
Dante: It's gonna be a good match to watch at least.
Then on the other side a door opens with Pegasus with 2 body guards coming out of it. Pegasus said somethings to Kaiba, but he didn't respond to anything he said. But then I noticed that his left eye wasn't a normal eye... it was a gold one, and it looked like it had the same symbol as Yuri's puzzle and Bakuara's ring.
Dante: ( Does he a millennium item too? )
Joey: I can't believe I'm saying this, but I'm not hoping Kaiba loses this duel. I still say he's a first class jerk for everything he put us through. But I can't help but feel for him, trying to get his kid brotha back.
