Forever Mine

Chapter 8

"Liam!" She giggles.
It was the first time I've heard her laugh since I got her back. I was carrying her off the boat. We made it to the house. It would be our fist time together again since I've been in jail. It's been too long. It will nice to actually be able to have her to myself. She won't be able to run to Emma or to Ella. It would just be us.

I was carrying her bridal style off the boat and to our house for the week. Well forever house but she doesn't know that..yet.

"You and me Avery, back and better then ever."
She gives me a fake laugh and smile but I see right through it.

Avery's pov:
He carried me into the house and gently set me down. A whole week together. Just us. I was terrified. I haven't been alone with him since he took me the first time. His mood swings and anger were even worse since getting out of a prison. I knew he wanted to start trying to have kids too. I didn't want to have a child of his.

The house was huge. Big windows, granite counter tops. Leather sofas. An office with a book shelf stacked head to toe. Everything you could ever need or want. Just not with the person I wanted.

I let out a sigh.
"Babe what's wrong?"
He was wearing a muscle shirt with a baseball cap on backwards. The sun kissed freckles showing on his shoulders. He looked concerned.

"How can you afford this? I don't understand. I thought you guys lost everything once you went to jail."

He smiled at me. I hated when he did this.

"Just because we went to jail and lost that company doesn't mean we still didn't have money before that. My grandfather built this house. It was for my mom and dad. He built it for them to run away to. My mom wanted to stay in the states though. So we'd come here every once in a while to vacation. We've had the house forever. Then my grandfather built two more houses almost identical to this one. One for me, one for Ryan."

I can't help but laugh.

"What's so funny?" Liam looks hurt that I'm laughing.

"You sound like a spoiled brat. You have so much money you don't even know what to do with."

"All the more reason you should be happy with me Avery. Look what I can do for you! I can give you the world. Anything that you want baby. You were living in a small studio apartment. Both you and Chase working and paying for things. Here you don't have to do anything. I can get us anything and everything we need." He pulls me close to him and kisses my forehead.

I pull away.

"I wish you could hear yourself Liam. How crazy you sound. I was happy! Just the way I was Liam. I loved working. I loved working out and have my after work routine. I loved shopping and getting coffee. I was so happy Liam. Did you ever think about what I wanted? Did you think I wanted to be stuck on an island?"

He doesn't answer for a second.

"Well you didn't give me much of a choice. I was kind of running from the police." Liam tries to defend himself.

Wait a minute. There was 3 houses. 2 very close together and 1 that had to be reached with a boat.

"Liam wait a minute. This is just where we are honeymooning right?" I give him an panicked face.

Liam's pov:
"Of course." I fake her a smile.

If I told her that we were living here she would freak out. I want to actually try to enjoy our honeymoon.

"But who is going to live here? If there is two houses right next to each other, then who is going to live here?"

She kept digging.
"We will talk about it another time. Let's just enjoy our honeymoon together. Come on let's have some fancy island drinks." I wink at her.

"I want to talk about it now. I don't want to wait."

"Avery I said we would talk about it later." My voice is stern.

"But." She looks at me with those eyes.

"I said drop it Avery." My irritation growing more.

She looks down at the ground with sad eyes. She always had to be so difficult didn't she?

"Come on lighten up Av. Didn't you miss being together?" I take her arms and kiss her nose.

"Don't answer that actually." I sigh.
I knew the answer she would give me.

"How about I go put our bags upstairs then we can make some fancy drinks and lay on the beach?" I smile at her.

"Sure." She fakes a smile.

We made piña colada's, strawberry daiquiris and had the most amazing time. She was a bit of a light weight so it didn't take much. It was one of the best times together. I loved watching her smile, and dance, and laugh.

She was perfect.

She sank into the couch and let out a yawn.
"I'm tired." She giggled.
"Let's get you up to bed." I smile at her.
I move the hair away from her face and kiss her. She was about to kiss my cheek too and stopped.

"Sike! That's what you get for abducting me." She laughed.

I had to laugh. She was cute. She was something else.

"Very funny. But now you owe me a kiss for real." I smirk at her.

"Nopeeee not happening!" She laughs.

She gets up and runs away.
"Hey! Get back here!" I yell in a playful tone.

I caught up to her and pulled her from behind. I spun her around so she was facing me. She placed her hands on my arms and looked up at me.

"I told you owed me a kiss." I grin.
I bent down and plant my lips onto hers. To my surprise she kisses me back. I don't even remember the last time we kissed like that. It was anything and everything I would want it to be.

I pick her up bridal style and carry her up the stairs for bed. I pull out her pajamas for her. She begins to pull her shirt off.

She's only in a bra and jeans now. I've never got to see her like this. She never lets me. I want to run over to her and caress every inch of her. But in due time we will be making love together.

She throws her shirt at me and bites her lip in a sexy way.

What game was she trying to play? I knew when she would wake up tomorrow she'd go back to hating me. I didn't want this to end. I loved this Avery. The happy, fun Avery.

Good things don't last forever though, right?
