Forever Mine

Chapter 58

"Chase! Help me! Help! He's going to take me away!" I cried out.

Liam stuck me with the needle. Ryan is has an evil grin plastered on his face.

"Say goodbye princess." Liam laughs to me.

"NOOOOO!" I cry out.

I watch as Ryan shoots Chase and then everything fades into the state of oblivion.

I shoot up. It was a dream only a dream. I looked around. The surroundings were familiar. Although just a different hospital floor. I was in the hospital.

The memories began to come back to me. Chase and Evan, they found me. Liam dragged me away while Chase was held at gunpoint. He drugged me to force me back onto the boat. I ran away and then hit my head. Chase was holding me in his arms. But someone was shot.... who had been shot? 

I'm hooked up to an IV. My head is pounding and my whole body aches. Oh my god. How could I have been so clueless?! My children! I jump out of the bed  and drag the IV pole along with me.

The nurses station is empty, no one is around. I need answers! I need my children! I rush to the other side of the hall. Finally I see two prison guards standing outside of a room.

"Help!" I yell to them.
"I need help! Where are my children?!" I cry out.

Nurses begin to rush toward me.

Liam's pov:
My eyes slowly begin to flutter open. I'm in an immense amount of pain. Everything hurts especially my side. Then I remembered. I got shot. Somehow, someway Chase had gotten away. He got the gun and he shot me.

I know he wanted to kill me. He would've. But he was more worried about Avery. So was I. I watched as she fell to the ground. I warned her not to run. The drug was strong and it was going to kick in fast. As it did. I ran to her despite the gun shot. I didn't give a shit. I didn't get there in time.

The police threw me to the ground and handcuffed me. I watched Chase hold my beautiful Avery in his arms. I began to cry. Eventually I had passed out from the pain. Now, I'm here.

I tried to get up but I was handcuffed to the hospital bed. I knew that it was all over. Everything I worked so hard for in my life, was all gone. Just like that. I longed to talk to Avery. I know that she still loved me just like I love her. I need her to know all the cruel things I had said weren't true. I didn't mean them. We could still be together. I would be in prison but it would all be ok. I needed to make a phone call I needed to hear her voice and know she was alright.

"Help!"
"I need help! Where are my children?!"

It was Avery. Wait a minute. Avery? Why was Avery here in this hospital?

"AVERY!"
"AVERY!" I scream again.

Avery's pov:

I hear his voice. That was no doubt Liam's voice. I began to feel overwhelmed. Something came over me. Thinking of the last words he had said to me. I needed my revenge.

I try to push past the guards but of course they won't let me in.

"YOU ASSHOLE! I HATE YOU! ROT IN HELL YOU SON OF A BITCH!" I cried out.

The guards try to restrain me but I just retreat down to the ground. The tears stream down my face. I'm broken. So beyond broken for words.

I feel them pick me up and put me in the wheel chair and wheel me back to my room.

Everything doesn't feel real. Chase rushed to my side trying to hug me and talk to me. The nurses are yelling. He's yelling back. I block it all out. I didn't even want to know what was going on. I just wanted to see my children.
