Your Touch (L x Light)

~Shower Time ~

It was early in the morning and Ryuzaki was the first to wake up.He opened his eyes and propped himself up against the bed's headboard. After adjusting his eyes to the light in the room he looked over towards Light. After staring for a while, Ryuzaki blushed a bit and turned away. Ryuzaki had feelings for light but it's not something he was able to express yet. It's not like he ever understood the whole love thing and besides Light was the number one suspect for Kira and feeling's would only get in the way of the case. Ryuzaki refused to let it happen.

The two we're supposed to be in the main investigating room by 7:00 am. It was 7:13 but Ryuzaki decided to let him sleep longer as was the one who kept him up. Around 7:22 am Light finally woke himself up. He propped himself up slightly pulling on the chains. He looked over and saw Ryuzaki typing on his laptop. "What time is it?" Light asked slightly yawning. "It's 7:22 in the morning" Ryuzaki said not looking up towards Light. Light quickly stood up yanking hard on the chain sending L flying onto his side of the bed. "What! We need to get ready and head to the main room, why didn't you wake me up earlier" he said hurriedly. Ryuzaki propped himself up rubbing the side of his head that he fell on. "Eh, sorry my bad" Light said blushing from embarrassment. He helped Ryuzaki back up and handed him his fallen laptop.

"Calm down it'll be fine, I was working on the case from bed anyways and it's not like we missed much" L said still rubbing his head. "Yes, but I hate being late so let's hurry and get ready" L nodded and stood up heading towards the bathroom to take a shower, pulling Light with him.

As the two got closer towards the bathroom, Light blushed realizing that he was going to have to be naked in front of Ryuzaki because he was being watched over. "This is the worst" he thought to himself, arriving to the bathroom.

This was only the second day the two were handcuffed together, but this was the first time the two were going to shower together. L stopped in front of the sink to brush his teeth and Light did as well. As Light was brushing his teeth he recalled the events of yesterday last night.
Ryuzaki snapped one side of the handcuffs to Light's right hand. "Is this really necessary" Light asked with an annoyed tone. "Yes, though you may have not been the one committing murders during your time in your cell, I would still like to keep more watch over you....You do understand right, Light-Kun". L said while snapping shut his own side of the handcuffs onto his left hand.

Ryuzaki only rolled his eyes. "Fine, let's just get this over with so I can prove I'm not Kira" shortly after, Light got in bed and fell fast asleep as L did the same but stayed up working on his computer.

Light shaked the flashback out of his a head and finished brushing his teeth. When the two were done they walked over towards the shower. Confused on what to do next light turned backed towards L. "So how are we doing this" he said slightly blushing . L lifted up a key from his pocket and unlocked both ends of the handcuff. "Your gonna shower first and the I will" he said. "Ok but turn away while I undress"and at this point his face was a bright red. "But I'm supposed to be watching you" L said. "Ryuzaki!" Light said a little less than a yell. "Fine" L said, slightly turning away as Light undressed and hopped in the shower. Ryuzaki sat down on the toilet top nearby. Light turned on the water and began to shower.

L turned back towards the shower and watched light. The curtain covering Light was see!through but tinted a bit for surveillance purposes . He could only see the outline of lights body. L watched as light scrubbed himself, he thought light was tall,slender with a great build which made him blush a bit. He quickly shaked those thoughts out his head as he remembered that he shouldn't develop feelings any further... Light quickly finished and turned off the water. He grabbed a nearby towel and wrapped it around his waist. L then did the same. When L was done showering he dried himself off and put on clean clothes that he brought beforehand.

When Ryuzaki was done dressing he snapped the handcuffs back onto Light's wrist, then his own. "Ugh not this again" Light said. "You'll get used to it" L said not paying light much attention. The two headed out the bathroom and out of the shared room. They walked down to the main investigation room where the rest of the team members were working. They greeted the rest of the team before sitting down. Light looked over at L then the chain that connected them, "This is gonna be a long day" he thought to himself.

Ok so I know this chapter was really dry (it was necessary for the plot)but I promise the next chapter is gonna be lots of fluff and more emotion🥰
‼️‼️Also during this time when the two were handcuffed in the anime, light disowned the death note so he had no memories of being Kira so Ryuk is not present and Light is not the current Kira.‼️‼️(940 words)
