Kate pov:
Me and Kuroo were in chemistry solving a chemical equation, when the intercom interrupted us.
"Hello everyone here are your daily notices for today... we are looking for members for the Basketball team so come join us in E12 at break 1 next we need more Hockey players so if you are interested please go sign up in the gym and Prom will be three weeks from now so tickets will be out next week and that is all for today thank and have a good day" the intercom said.
I look at Kuroo and Kuroo looks at me, but I look behind us to see people talking about prom and who they're taking.
"Hey you going to prom?" Kuroo asked.
"Yeah are u?" I replied.
"Yes I am" he says.
"Are you going alone?" I asked.
"I-" he was saying until he was interrupted by his fangirls.
"Hey Kuroo are you going with anyone?" A girl asked.
"Hey Kuroo can you go to prom with me?" Another girl asked.
"Hey I'm sorry but no" Kuroo answered.
"But why~?" They asked.
"Because I already have a date" Kuroo said.
"Who?" They ask.
"Kate is my date" he replies.
"Wh- oh yeah I'm his date sorry ladies but he is my date" I said with a smile.
"Agh" the one girl says before leaving.
Everyone else follows in suit and leaves, I look at Kuroo and he looks at me.
"Were you joking or being serious" I said.
"I was being serious Kate will you be my prom date?" Kuroo asked.
"Of course" I replied.
"Cool" he simply says.
Timeskip...
The bell went for break so me and Kuroo walked to the cafeteria, when we got there everyone was talking about the prom. I sat down at the table with the volleyball team, I sat inbetween Kuroo and Yamamoto.
"Hey Kate you going to prom with anyone?" Yamamoto asked.
"Yes I'm going with Kuroo" I answered.
"What! Agh Kuroo got lucky" Yamamoto muttered.
"Sorry but you were too late" I said poking my tongue at him.
"Hey Kate do we have practise tonight?" Lev asks.
"Yup" I replied.
A bunch of girls came over to us and started swarming around Kuroo.
"Hey Kuroo you want to go to prom with me?" A girl asked.
"No sorry I'm already going with someone" Kuroo says.
"Oh okay" she mumbled walking off.
When the bell went for last period, we all left for our classes but before I left Kuroo grabbed my wrist.
"I'll meet you at your class so wait for me" Kuroo said before letting go.
"Okay" I said walking off.
After class I waited infront of the class for Kuroo, while I was waiting I played games on my phone.
"Hey sorry I was late" a deep voice said.
I look up to see Kuroo walking up to me.
"Hey no it's fine" I say while turning my phone off.
"Should we go?" Kuroo asks.
"Yeah let's go" I said.
We walked side by side through the hallway and talked about random stuff while walking to the gym. When we reach the gym, Kuroo open the door for me.
"Ladies first" Kuroo said gesturing the open door.
"Why thank you" I said giving a short bow and walking through.
"Hey guys" I said walking over to them.
"Hey Kate" they said.
"Let's start practise" I say.
"Yeah!" They shouted.
"Okay so I'll partner you up so you can practise on different things" I explained.
"Okay" they said.
"Okay so it will be Yaku and Kenma Yamamoto and Lev and then its leaves Kuroo... I'll be your partner" I say while they move to there partners.
"Okay" Kuroo said standing next to me.
"Okay so Kenma and Yaku will work on receiving and setting Yamamoto and Lev will practise spiking and blocking and you will practise spiking got it" I explain.
"Lesh go!" Yamamoto yelled.
"Yeah" we all yelled.
Timeskip...
After practise while everyone was packing up, Kuroo came over to me and stood infront of me.
"Hey Kate" Kuroo says.
"Yeah" I say looking up at him.
"Do you want to go on a date with me?" Kuroo asks looking really nervous.
"Of course" I answered.
"Really!?" He says.
"Yes really" I said.
"Okay cool how does tomorrow sound?" Kuroo asked.
"Yeah I can do tomorrow" I reply.
"Okay then I'll pick you up at 9:30am and dress in something pretty" Kuroo says before running off.
"Okay" I mumbled.
"Can we go now Kate?" A quiet voice said from behind me.
I turned around and saw Kenma standing there.
"Of course let me go get my stuff then we can go" I say.
"No need to worry I have all your stuff here" Kenma said holding up my bag.
"Oh thank you Kenken yes we can go now" I said grabbing my stuff.
Before leaving the gym, I turn around to face the others.
"SEE YA GUYS!" I shouted.
"SEE YA KATE KENMA!" They shouted back while waving.
While we walked home me and Kenma were talking about my date with Kuroo.
"If he hurts you in anyway I'll kill him" Kenma said sounding serious.
"Naww thanks Kenma" I said looping my arm with his.
"Its fine" he says while looking away.
After we got home we both had a shower and we both were sitting in the lounge playing on the xbox.
"We should get some sleep Kenma" I said.
"Yeah but I'm going to finish this level first" Kenma says.
"Okay goodnight Kenma" I say standing up.
"Goodnight Kate" he said.
