Hi lovelies. This is a request. I will message the person to let them know the story is finished. They suggested two characters, and I couldn't decide between them, so I'm going to try writing two stories. I'm sorry I haven't been active recently. I've had work, and to be 100% honest, I haven't been doing ok mentally or emotionally. But that's besides the point. Enough babbling for now. Let's get started!!!!

No One's POV

Nishinoya looked up at the sky, smiling, he relaxed back into the sand he was laying on. He had been in Greece for about a month, he was originally just passing through there on his way to Spain, but after a day there, he decided to stay for a little while. It was a beautiful country, and everyone was super nice to him. He knew their kindness was genuine too, mostly because he wasn't even in the touristy part of the country, he was in the part where the locals stayed. And while they were nice people, he sometimes wondered if they were confused about what was myth and what was real. Mostly because the locals kept warning him about fishing off a certain area of beach. They claimed there were sirens out there, which of course was absurd, sirens were just a myth, a legend, they couldn't be real.

Noya had been relaxing all afternoon on the beach, when he began to get bored, he decided to rent a small yacht and sail out a ways to go fish in the evening. He went to the closest fishing supply shop and bought everything he needed, including food and water for about a week, just in case. While he was shopping, he saw a beautiful necklace, it was on a silver chain, and it looked like it had real diamonds and amethyst on it. Talking to the owner of the shop about it, he found out that the jewels were indeed real. But the necklace was said to be cursed, which was why it was so inexpensive. Well, being the guy Noya was, he bought it. He just had a gut feeling that he would need it soon.

After Noya got everything he needed for his fishing trip, he set sail. Smiling, he was glad he was taught to sail. For the next few hours he fished and sang happily to himself. He decided to stay out all night and enjoy the sounds of the ocean. Gathering up his stuff, he quickly pulled a sleeping bag onto the deck and got inside. Still quietly singing, he stared up at the stars. Soon enough he stopped and as he quietly looked up into that beautiful night sky, he asked a question, to no one in particular. "Why am I alone? I know I didn't have many friends through high school, other than the volleyball team really, but still, why am I always the one who ends up alone?" He sighed sadly, "Tanaka has Kiyoko, and everyone else is either married to their job, or in school. But yet, here I am, alone, doing nothing with my life except traveling. I mean, I love traveling, but I just wonder why I have to be alone?" "Well, I don't know the answer to your questions, but I do understand why you asked them," a soft, feminine voice said.

Y/n's POV

I had been watching this boat for hours, trying to figure out it's inventions. Whoever was aboard didn't seem too dangerous, I mean, they were fishing yes, but they were releasing every fish they caught. I had also peeked my head above the water a few times, and each time I did, I heard a young man singing softly. I listened for a while, noticing how gentle his voice sounded. I then heard him questioning why he has to be alone all the time. I felt my heart break a bit, mostly because I felt the same way. I popped out of the water a bit more, and gave him the only answer that I could. "Well, I don't know the answer to your questions, but I do understand why you asked them." I heard shuffling, then I was suddenly face to face with a young man.

No one's POV (I'm sorry for jumping around with POVs so much. I just find it easier to write like this)

Noya looked at the young female in front of him for a solid minute before he began freaking out. "How did you get out here?! Who are you?! What are you?!" He shouted, confused. The girl giggled and let him calm down before answering. "Well, I live out here silly! Surely you've heard all the stories about sirens in these waters! My name is Y/n, what's yours?" Rhe young girl smiled wider and pulled herself onto the deck of the boat so that Noya could see her tail. Once he did, his eyes grew wider than before, if that was even possible. A few minutes went by as he processed what was going on. In that time, the young girl had transformed her tail into two human legs. They sat in comfortable silence before Noya began to speak again. "So, Y/n, I noticed your earrings, they're really pretty." The young girl blushed deep and looked away shyly. "Thank you Noya, I had a matching necklace, but that went missing a few months back. I'm just sad, knowing that I'll never see it again." A single tear fell down her cheek. Noya quickly grabbed his bag, dug around inside it, and pulled out the necklace he had bought earlier. "Is this it?" He questioned softly. Y/n's eyes grew wide, and a giant smile spread across her face. Nodding her head frantically she allowed Noya to place it on her neck, where it belonged.

The two new friends talked the night away, finding comfort in the other's companionship. Turns out, they weren't so different. Both had friends, but they weren't close with them anymore. They always felt alone, even when they were with others. But with each other, they didn't feel that loneliness.

Y/n decided to stay with Noya for a while, and the two became inseparable. Soon enough though, Noya decided to continue traveling the world, and, unable to leave him, Y/n decided to travel as well. They traveled to many places, and enjoyed every moment with each other. Once they got back to Japan, Noya decided it was time for this amazing young woman, er, siren, to meet his friends. To say that they were surprised that their hyper friend found someone as amazing as Y/n, was an understatement.

Years went by, and the two were standing at the altar, exchanging vows. To have and to hold, until death do they part. A beautiful honeymoon brought forth many children. And many happy years with their new family.

Once two lonely souls, now were together, never to be lonely again.

Fin.
