I was standing in the hallway backstage talking to Renee. I had started becoming closer to her as the days went on and it was something that I had no control over. Her personality just drew me to her and the fact that we were interested in the same things was a plus as well. Bryelle was my sister and best friend, but I could see myself becoming close friends with Renee and I knew Bryelle would support that.

"I'm telling you Laya, you have to come to Vegas, you would love it." Renee gushed as she showed me pictures of the home she and Jon occupied when they weren't traveling with the company.

"It's been a while since I've been to Vegas, I'm not going to lie. But," I smiled over at her, "Are you wanting me to come to Vegas for hangs or to have me look over your backyard and give you an estimate on that fire pit you've been talking about for Jon?"

"Seriously?" Renee gasped, sticking her phone in the back pocket on her jeans. "Both." She replied, making us both chuckle. "What? I'm sorry but you're amazing at what you do and I know you'll treat me right. Not like these other places that will charge us an arm and a leg just because they believe we have a buttload of money, ya know?"

"Understandable." I glanced behind me as I felt someone brush against me, seeing Jon had walked up and sat their bags on the table behind me.

"Plus it would be awesome for you to come hang out." Renee smiled.

"Hang out where?" Jon asked, taking a bite from an apple as he looked over at his wife.

"I'm trying to talk Laya here into coming to Vegas next week when we get home and hang out." Renee spoke, watching her husband.

"Oh yeah?" He spoke while chewing, causing me to snurl my nose up at him as I pressed my back against the wall. "You ever been to Vegas?"

"Do I look like I'm living a sheltered life to you?" I rose a brow.

"I'm just asking because I don't want you to come out there and end up getting white girl wasted and acting foolish because you've never experienced that kind of lifestyle." He took another bite from his apple, shrugging. "I, for one, value my friendship with your sister and I know if you got into some trouble out there, she would kick my ass."

"Are you saying I'm a troublemaker, Good?" I challenged him, small smile on my face.

"Nope." He popped the p. "I'm just saying you seem to attract the wacko's and there are plenty of them in Vegas."

"I believe it because I'm looking at one right now." I replied, causing Renee to snort.

"Damn you're mean." He chuckled slightly.

"I love her so I'm extending the invite and I hope you come." Renee smiled brightly.

"I'll let you know. I do have a house to remodel for my sister ya know?" I replied, smiling as Joe walked up carrying his bags.

"Dude what's the deal?" He sighed, sitting his bag on the table beside Jon's. "Bryelle is out on some romantic ice cream date with Graves and Lopez is in the locker room freaking out over taking Laya out tonight."

"Jeez." Jon looked back at me with a smile. "The Hudson twins are dating now, huh?"

"Slow your roll, nobody said anything about dating." I defended. "We're being friendly and testing the waters a bit."

"Uh uh," Joe eyed me skeptically. "That's why he's in there smelling like a french whore?"

"Oh no, really?" I asked.

"I'm still not too happy about this Bryelle and Graves thing." Jon shot out, taking the last bite of his apple and tossing the core in the garbage behind him.
