Theo closed the door behind him and ran to the ravine behind the Hale household, grinning the entire way there. He ran as fast as he can without anyone noticing. He made it official when he said he's going to take what's his. He has chosen.

Rachiëlla stood by the door and clutched the present in her hand smiling brightly to herself. She loved it. With all her heart, she loved it. It was the most beautiful thing she has seen tonight, and it was all hers. She walked back into the living room smiling to herself. Nelliël caught her grinning to herself and went to her. They both kept talking while Tanner leaned against the counter, studying his little sister. He enjoys watching his sister smiling so brightly. He didn't like her omega friend that much though, but for some reason she seems to like him a lot. Maybe it was the fact that his personality is like that of an alpha and he fights like one. He's strong for an omega that much is true. He wonders what kind of pack he's from, in order to fight like an alpha.

As the thought came into his mind, he realized something. Nobody on the team knows which pack the omega, belonged to. The team had an initiation ritual where they secretly go for a run in the woods during practice, that way the team captain could get a feel of his team players. The ritual includes telling the team their full name which indicates which pack they belong to. Theo never mentioned his, in fact never once has he seen the omega's tattoo. He never spoke about his pack nor his tattoo, not even where he lived. It was strange.

He walked to the door and was about to open the door when Rachiëlla caught his attention. She poked his arm and he turned his gaze to his half-sister. She had this worried mixed with a smiling expression on her face.

"Hey, where you going? You're leaving already?" she asks with a playful pout.

Tanner chuckles and smiles as he calmly said, "Not yet. I'm just going to check on something. I'll be back soon."

The alpha nod, unaware of what her brother was up to and went back to the living room. Tanner waited till he was outside and far from earshot before he fished out his phone from his pocket and called his best friend. The beta called "Diego Cortez".

He waited for just a few seconds before the beta answered his phone with a loud, tired yawn.

"Dude what is it? It's the middle of the night" he whined through the phone.

"Dude its only 9pm," he countered with an unamused tone.

"You know I like sleeping early, especially after the day I had with my mate," he replied and Tanner could practically hear the smugness.

"Tell me all about it later, right now I need to ask you something." His tone became more serious. Diego became serious as he sat up properly on his bed, because when his best friend starts talking like this, its because something serious is going on or is about to go down.

"What is it you need to know?"

"What do you know about Theo?"

"Theo? The lone wolf?" he asks seriously.

"Yeah him."

"Well that depends. What do you want to know?"

"His last name."

He heard a thoughtful hum on the other side before his best friend finally answered, "I...don't know."

"Have you ever seen his tattoo?" he presses on.

"No. Now that you mentioned it, nobody knows anything about him."

"Nothing at all?" he asks surprised. How can nobody know anything about him?
