Chapter 7 Recovery

The next day was hard. Theo woke up the next day, with his head still throbbing and the scent of the alpha still all over him. Yesterday when it happened, the omega took a bath, scrubbing his skin hard with soap as he tried to get the smell off him. Not that he really wanted that, but after what happened last night with Seth, he needed to clean his dirty laundries and not air them. No pun intended. His brother came to his room asking him again why did he smell like someone else? And Theo was getting a tiny bit annoyed but told him that he just hugged his friend that had a really strong scent. He might be too young to understand, but his parents on the other hand, weren't born yesterday and as a pair that been intimate with each other, more than once, they know when you were near someone in heat or not. They could smell heat from a mile away. Literally. As much as he likes having her scent like this, he cant have his parents finding out about it. He tried to erase as much of it as possible, but even if he did hate it, he couldn't erase much cause almost nothing he had at home could've gotten rid of it. When he almost chocked, it was the perfect distraction from their question.

Theo was currently dressing up nicely in the mirror for church. Sunday is church day for the four Morse family inside the house. But its more than just a regular day to church. Its the 1st of September. Uncle Matts funeral. While Theo was dressing up nicely in a white dress shirt, black pants suit and vest and adding the finishing touch to his tie, memories flood through his head about the good times with his uncle. All the barbecue parties, the beach parties, the Christmases. The man was both energetic and charismatic. He always did exciting things with his life and lived life merrily and to the fullest. Then, across the hall he could hear his mother nagging Seth to wear his jacket.

He grabs his body spray and sprayed his body till he could've barely detected his own scent. He believed it was necessary as extra precautions, scared that it might be too obvious and suspicious. without wasting anymore time, with a small sigh he then went to Seth's room where he finds his mom and brother together.

"Mom I hate the jacket," he whines at his mom.

"You're going to wear it. This is a funeral and you're not going anywhere looking like you were born in a cave, young man," she says annoyed.

"But its so hot," he continued whines at his mother. Sensing his mother increasing annoyance, Theo cuts in.

"Hey mom, everyone else is here and they're waiting downstairs. Go on, I'll make sure he gets dressed," Theo offered with a smile. She lets out a tired, but grateful sigh as she let his second eldest son to take of it.

"Thank you, sweetie. Maybe you have a better chance making him wear the jacket."

"Lets hope I do," he mumbled to himself.

"I'll head out with your father. When everything here is done, you know where to find us."

"Where's Cole? He should be here right now," he says frowning. The thought just came to mind at the moment.

"Your brother will be arriving late. With all of the work he has he will be arriving by the time we head up to the mountains."

Theo nods and his mom walks past him, leaving him alone with his brother. Theo chuckles at his brother as Seth fumbles with his pantsuit and grabbed the younger one's tie laying on the bed. When Seth tucks the matching dress shirt in his pants he turns to pout at his older brother.

"I hate the jacket. Its so hot and heavy. Why do I have to wear the jacket?" he asked and Theo chuckles softly to himself.

"Don't worry about it cause, we are going to an air-conditioned church. So, you won't be hot at all. If anything, you might be glad that you brought it with you," he replied, kneeling down to meet the alpha's height as he starts tying the younger wolf's tie properly.
