The air was cool though the ashes from the mansion fluttered by. Rebecca sobbed to the near-dark evening, Mondo had won. He had rescued Garfield and burned her home to the ground.

Once she had regained her composure, she looked around her. She was on a road that lead to a small town square. In the middle of the square was a tall, big chested, muscular man. In that moment, the man and Rebecca locked eyes.

The guy had an avenging intent about him.

"Hey! You!"

"Hm?" Rebecca questioned.

"My name is Jean-Pierre Polnareff and I'm looking for my sisters murderer. You seem like someone who could win a fight. Will you help me avenge my poor sister?" Polnareff explained.

"Sorry to disappoint mate but I couldn't even win against a gay biker and his lasagna-eating, anthropomorphic cat boyfriend. Buuuutttt....." Rebecca said thoughtfully, "I guess I do need something to do since that mansion was the only source of entertainment for the past thousand years... Alright Mr. Polnareff, I'll help you out!" She agreed. "Oh yeah by the way" she added, " the names Rebecca, god of insomnia and form, and it's great to make your acquaintance!" Rebecca said with a chaotic grin.

"Great! Right then," Polnareff said, walking alongside her, "I'm not sure who, but this man works for a man who I don't know but do have the location of!" At that moment he laid out a map across the nearest bench, jabbing his finger at a circled point of the map.

Rebecca looked at the watch that had suddenly appeared on her wrist.

"Ok, it's good that we know where this guy is but it's pretty late. It would be best if we look for a hotel as my (previously mentioned) mansion was burnt to cinders."

"Sure" said Polnareff simply.
