Our Story, Our Tale || Kagehina

Chapter Three

"Kageyama!" the orange mop top yelled from the bathroom, four weeks after their honeymoon. The taller male hurried to their shared en-suite,  eyes filled with curiosity. He was greeted by his husband holding a blue and white stick thing. Tobio, being the oblivious person he is, asked what the object was. That's when Hinata showed the boy the text. Unsure, the raven haired looked at Hinata again. Instead of curiosity, his eyes now showed excitement as he engulfed the much shorter one in a suffocating bear hug. Once they pulled apart, their lips caught onto each others.

"We need to go to the doctor to make sure though," Shoyo stated, trailing off a little bit. Kageyama noticed the older boys nervousness, questioning it. 

"Are you okay, Sho?" he said, leaning down to him. With tears forming, Hinata looked down to the ground.

"I... It's just, we.. we agreed that we would wait at least a year or so till we have a kid. And I don't, my contract hasn't ended yet," he cried, holding onto the love of his life. The lanky man held him tightly, letting him sob into his chest. With soft kisses on his head, Kageyama felt sorrow in his heart for his soulmate. 

"Hey, shshsh. It's okay, love." he waited until Hinata finished so he could continue. "Look, we don't even know if a little one is in there, okay? But it's okay if there is. We can do this together, just you and me," he felt at peace with his husbands words, settled right with him.

"Right, need to book a doctors appointment now," Tobio laughed, rubbing the shorters back.

"I love you so much," he said, earning the quiet reply from the ginger, "Love you too,"

... 

"Congratulations! You're around five weeks pregnant," the doctor in white said, handing both boys the results. The two looked at each other before embracing each other tightly. Well, more like Tobio embraced Hinata. Shoyo kept his hands to his side.

"This is happening, like, really happening, happening" Kageyama muddled up his words, short of breath from excitement. Hinata smiled echoingly,  almost disappointed. Though, the raven haired male didn't pick it up as he scooped the older up. 

On the ride back, they decided to stop by the Sugawara-Daichi's household. When they got there, they were greeted with a cute 1970's house. Hinata knocked once then twice until finally the silver haired boy answered. It was then where Shoyo really was able to look at the bump on Suga's middle half. 

"Hinata! Kageyama! How are you  guys? Come in, come in" Koshi pushed them inside as best he could. The welcoming of the place was a bunch of paint, tools and boxes filled to the brim with all kinds of stuff. Sugawara worriedly implied, "Sorry, mind the mess. We're setting up the nursery at the moment for these two," he placed his hands on his very large seven month stomach. They walked through the house till they arrived at the kitchen at the far end of the house.

"Do you guys want a hot drink?" he asked, receiving a yes please from Hinata and a polite no thank you from Kags. As Koshi made two cups of tea, Daichi entered the picture. He pecked the silver haired males head before talking the younger boys. 

"How was your honeymoon?" the former captain asked, grabbing some milk from the fridge after his husbands request. Kageyama and Hinata were quick to explain all the glories of how their adventure went. 

"And thank you Suga, we never thanked you in person but thank you so much for planning it," Shoyo implied, earning a silent chuckle from the mother figure. Kageyama agreed with the boy to his right. 

They all sat in the living room and chatted before the younger ones said their goodbyes and headed home. The whole way, Hinata remand unusually silent.
