A Green Thumb

(Y/N) looked upon Arkham City, now dawning his Prometheus dark green, leather outfit. The pretender was still in possession of his mask. His gear was laying in a dumpster, even he outfit had hole from the rusted bar, it was bloodied and his injuries were still severe. (Y/N) was in no position to find Shark, first things first was tending to his wounds.

The three big players, Joker, Penguin and Two Face most likely had some medical supplies.  He was in good with Penguin, but if he went back there he would most likely be in debt to the little shit. Last thing he needed to do was to take sides with the gang war that was taking place.

As he looked over the prison city he took notice of something interesting. One of the Tyger Security helicopters was firing at plants? What seemed to be a hotel was covered in vines, with a massive flower sprouting from the top.

The helicopter had its sentry gun firing at the plants but seemed to have no effect what so ever. There were even what appeared to be thugs, but thugs from every gang in Arkham wielding rifles and firing back at the chopper.

"Attention prisoner 66181 otherwise known as Poison Ivy, had over the Tyger Security you have captured and we may resolve this peacefully" a voice rang out from the helicopter.

'I don't think piece is an option their pal' (Y/N) thought to himself.

Fire was exchanged, with the goons just mindlessly firing back at the chopper. Confrontations between thugs and the security forces were not in (Y/N)'s mind, it was what was happening to the thugs. There seemed to some sort of green glow exhaling from their eyes and mouth, said mouths were hun open almost like zombies.

Even stranger was the fact that the thugs seemed none the wiser of taking cover from the elevated enemy. They just seemed to stand still, when one was shot they recoiled and felt the pain like any person would, but seemed driven or forced to keep fighting. Bullets flew from both sides, while the thugs fell like dominos, many of the bullets simply deflected off the chopper was if they were arrow against lightning.

After a few minutes of bullets being engaged by both parties, it seemed the thugs stroke luck. One stray bullet seemed to pierce the windscreen of the chopper, while the chopper didn't fall from the sky or burst into flames it did seem to have an effect. The chopper waved in the air, then decided to fly away, the thugs were victorious though their emotionless faces wouldn't show it.

The situation got even stranger, as the thugs then dumped the corpses of the dead into the cold waters below. The corpses the floated towards the vine covered hotel, and then absorbed by the vines. Almost as if the chopper and dead never occurred, the raining three, wounded, mindless thugs went back to standing around.

Interesting, whatever this gang were on seemed to be able to null pain.

And in his current circumstance, (Y/N) needed that type of effect. The only problem would be making this gang, and their leader 'Poison Ivy' agree to allowing (Y/N) to have such an ability.

'I guess it's a sort of drug, such as venom or vertigo' he again thought to himself.

(Y/N) immediately made the connection between this vine covered hotel, and the green enchantress from those years ago in Arkham Island. That witch managed to control herself an entire army thanks to whatever spores she used. (Y/N) then crouched down, and began rubbing his chin weighing his options.

'In a few days Shark will probably send Prometheus after me once word spread I'm alive. I'm also in no position to take him in a fight if he happens to find me' he looked up to the three mindless thugs 'Even I fall victim to whatever happens in there I'm too valuable and skilled and that I'll be disposed off'.
