Chapter 18

2 Weeks Later

"Are there gonna be any other kids there?" Bry asked from the backseat.

"Yes." Beyoncé said from the passenger seat.

"But what about me? I'm gonna be alone." Bri said.

"You got me?" Beyoncé's said looking back.

Bri's face twisted up and Shawn looked through the rear view. He laughed at her face.

"Hey, I'm great company." Beyoncé said.

"Yeah." Bri said slowly.

Beyoncé turned around in her seat. She looked over and Shawn was still laughing.

"What are you laughing at?" Beyoncé asked.

"Nothing, nothing." He said stopping.

They were on their way to the baby shower that the girls and Ms. Tina organized. Beyoncé didn't know what to expect. They just told her where it was, the day, and what time to be there. Everything else she had no clue about.

They finally arrived at the place and got out the car. 

"Bry." Beyoncé said and he stood in front of her. "Did you lotion your face?" 

He nodded.

"Yeah." He said.

"Then why you still look ashy?"

"I don't know." He said shrugging.

Beyoncé got some cocoa butter out of her purse and put some in his hands and told him to lotion his face. He did then Beyoncé made sure his hair was fine. Since Beyoncé's been on maternity leave those tutorials on YouTube on dreads have been her best friend.

"Okay, come on." Beyoncé said grabbing his hand and they walked.

They walked in the place and had to follow the signs. They walked until they got to a door and Shawn opened it.

"Surprise!" Everyone screamed.

No, it wasn't a surprise party per say but with Beyoncé not knowing anything about the theme and who was actually invited that was the surprise. Oh, and the fact that they actually yelled surprise.

Beyoncé looked around and the whole room was Disney princess theme. From Princess Tiana to Princess Jasmine. 

They walked in and everything looked so pretty. Shawn's family was there as well as Beyoncé's. Soon everyone found their seats and Beyoncé, Shawn and the kids sat at a special table.

Everyone went and got food. Shawn got Beyoncé's plate as she sat down. Kelly, Michelle and Solange walked over and Beyoncé stood.

"You guys, thanks so much." Beyoncé said hugging them. "Everything is so beautiful."

"We knew you'd like it." Kelly said.

They all sat down for a sec and Beyoncé looked around at some of the guest.

"Y'all invited Shawn's cousin?" Beyoncé asked.

"Were we not supposed to?" Michelle asked.

"No, I mean it's cool I just gotta make sure at all times Bri stays away from Jessica."

"What? Why?" Solange asked.

Beyoncé briefly told them what happened during Christmas.

"I knew I didn't like that girl." Solange said.

Beyoncé laughed and tried to spot Bri. She saw her near Shawn.

"Where's mama?" Beyoncé asked.
