Chapter 19

3 Weeks Later, June

Beyoncé stood behind the vanity as Bri sat in the chair. She was doing her hair. The day of graduation had finally come and Bri was now finished with middle school.

"What you feeling?" Beyoncé asked. "You excited?"

"I'm not excited." She said.

"Why not?" 

"I'm going to high school." Bri said. "That's a whole different ball game."

"You'll be fine." Beyoncé said as she finished up her hair. "Now finish getting dressed."

Bri got up and Beyoncé fixed up her vanity and then went towards the nursery. She saw Bry standing looking over the crib. Beyoncé walked over to them.

"Mommy, all she does is cry. She's no fun." He said.

Beyoncé laughed.

"That's because she's still little. When she gets older she'll be able to play with you and talk to you." 

"I guess." He said and left out.

Beyoncé laughed again and picked up her sleeping baby girl who was already dressed. She saw Shawn already had the car seat ready and she placed Blue in it. She secured Blue and then picked up the car seat and walked down stairs. 

"Hey babe, let me help you." Shawn said coming out the kitchen to get the car seat.

"Thank you." She said and then walked in the kitchen.

Bry was playing his game and Beyoncé sat down. Shawn came in holding Blue.

"Your gonna spoil her holding her like that." Beyoncé said.

"Nah, she good." He said.

Beyoncé shook her head. Shawn never wanted to put Blue down. She was a daddy's girl already. 

Bri finally came down to the kitchen.

"Ohhhh" Bry said.

"Awwwww, you look so cute." Beyoncé said.

"Ugh, I wanna go change." Bri said turning back towards the stairs.

"Hey, why?" Shawn asked. "You look beautiful."

"I guess." Bri said walking over to the table.

"Don't guess, know." Shawn said smiling. "You ready?"

"Yeah." She said nodding.

Shawn went to put Blue in the car seat and they finally left to go to the school.
