•GUYS IM SO SORRY ITS BEEN CENTURIES BUT HERES CHAPTER 23•
•DEDICATED TO 'Mandee25'•
•Luke's Point Of View•
I stirred and stretched, struggling to open my eyes, trying multiple of times, but failing miserably. I groaned, I must've had about four hours sleep.
Once achieving to pry my tired eyes open, I rolled over and checked my phone on the night stand. In bright white letters, it read '11:49'.
So in reality, I'd had a good ten hours kip.
I shrugged and put my phone back on the stand and looked over at Millie. Who was still asleep, hair cascading over the right side of her face. Her lips slowly parted.
I tiredly smiled and got up, going to the toilet. I did my business and then washed my hands, face and walked back into the bedroom, where I pulled out some black skinnies, a white tank, boxers and some trainer socks. I quickly got dressed and made my way downstairs.
I flicked on the kettle and got out two mugs, putting a couple of sugars and a teabag in both, I put a generous amount of milk in, followed by water once the kettle had boiled.
I then got out a couple of bowls and poured rice crispies in both with some milk. After taking out the teabag and adding a spoon to the cereal, I put the two items on a tray, and carefully carried it upstairs to Millie.
As predicted, she was still asleep. So I placed the food and tea down on the nightstand beside her, and perched on an empty spot on the bed.
"Millie," I whispered, shaking her lightly.
"Millie." I tried again but she stirred and went back to sleep.
I sighed and my phone buzzed. I pressed the home button and Michael's name flashed on the screen, I pressed accept and made my way out the room to take the call.
"Michael," I closed the door, "What do you want?"
"Bro, you serious?" he breathed, "Incase you have forgotten, we've got practise, this tours not going to sort itself out."
I pressed a hand to my head, completely forgetting about practise today.
"Yeah.. sorry mate. I forgot. I'll be there in five,"
"Mkay." he grumbled before the call ended and I groaned, getting a small piece of paper and scribbling a note for Millie.
And with that, I got my shoes on and made my way to practise.
•Amelia's Point of View;•
The next morning I woke up alone. I lifted up my head a little, enough so I can peer around the room only to be met by nothing.
I shrugged and turned over, and there lay a tray beside me with tea and cereal on it, followed by a small letter with Luke's scruffy handwriting on it. I picked it up and read;
Millie,
If your reading this, it means your awake, unless it's not you, in which case-- shut up Luke.
Anyway, I'm a band practise, but I made you breakfast and tea, you should be proud;). I tried to wake you up but it didn't work, so I left it next to your bed.
Have a nice breakfast, and I'll see you when I get back.
Your sincerely, your amazingly talented astonishing fabulous boyfriend,
Luke.
I smiled and rubbed my eyes, what a dork. I dropped the small piece of paper on my stomach and pulled the tray onto the bed. I sat up, cross-legged and started to eat my rice crispies and drink my tea.
My phone buzzed beside me, and I picked it up, seeing I had a message from Louise.
Mil, you may want to turn onto channel 361.
I frowned, confused but decided to put on the channel, to see what she wanted me to watch.
And I wish I hadn't.
Because it was full of me. Me and Luke. Holding hands. Kissing. Hugging. The boat trip. The picnic.
The middle-aged women spoke, "Ladies, looks like Mr Hemmings is off the market. He has been spotted with the same girl, who seems to be an american called Amelia Hamilton, multiple of times. The two were seen just last week canoodling on a romantic boat trip. Is this a new couple alert?"
My jaw hit the floor, they knew everything.
