Waking up with the feeling of a massive weight on your head is not the best.

My hand shot up to my forehead and I groaned. I opened my eyes after minutes of struggling and looked around, my apartment was an absolute mess. My lamp was smashed on the floor and the wall by my front door had a slight dent in it. Not to mention my empty vodka bottle was in splinters on the floor beside me.

No matter how many times I tried to recall what had actually happened last night, I had no idea. I shut my eyes and reached onto the table, searching for my phone. Only to find it not there.

I sighed angrily, I have the worst hangover possibly ever, and now I've lost my phone.

I began walking to the bathroom to clean up, when I spotted my phone on the kitchen side, next to my purse. The screen was now smashed, and as I reached for it to call Luke, the events of yesterday flooded back into my mind, knocking all the air out of me.

Tears sprung to my eyes again, as some started pouring down my cheeks. I'd screwed up again.

Taking a look in the mirror as I stumbled onto the cold tiles of the bathroom, I noticed my hair was messed up, my makeup smeared all down my face, and my skin pale.

Deciding to shower, I jumped in and started washing my body clean. My tears blended with the steamy hot water, as I let the water slide down my body.

Turning the shower off, I got out and threw on some sweatpants and Luke's jumper. My hair was threw into a messy plait.

I needed to get away for a few hours and clear my head.

As I began walking down the sidewalk to my favourite park, I noticed how the sky was turning from a pretty purple, to a bright blue. The few clouds that were scattered across the sky allowed the beautiful sun to shine through.

I didn't know if Luke and I were on a break, whether he hated me, or if we ever going to even speak again.

As I neared the park, I spotted a free bench and walked towards it. Sitting down, I pulled my knees to my chest. People around me were rushing to work or school, as I sat oblivious to everyone around me.

I felt the bench move slightly beside me and I sighed before looking up, "Calum?"

"Uh, hey Millie." He stuttered.

"What are you doing here?" I asked.

"Well, I heard about what happened with you and Luke,"

"God, can't that boy keep anything to himself!" I shake my head.

"Hey, we forced it out of him, believe me." He chuckled lightly.

"What'd you mean?"

"Me, Michael and Ash knew something was wrong with him. We came home and he was sat there, things were smashed and the apartment was a mess. When we asked him what was wrong, he snapped at everyone. Then he broke down and we made him tell us," Calum explained.

Tears spilled out my eyes and all I could feel was guilt.

I'd messed up, I should never have made that stupid bet, but as I told Luke previously, it was over.

Wasn't it? Wait, have I told Oscar it's off? Shit, I haven't.

"Um, Calum. I need to go somewhere. I'll catch you later though. Sorry." I didn't wait for him to reply before rushing off to Oscars.

I knocked on his door impatiently before he answered, "Hey Mil-"

"Look, aboutthebet,isitstillonbecauseIneedtoknowandI'vemadeahugemistakeifitis." I gasped after.

"English?"

"Look, about the bet, is it still on because I need to know and I've made a huge mistake if it is." I repeated as he took it all in.

"Well, I remember you telling me you couldn't be bothered with it anymore, but you didn't exactly tell me it was off," Oscar explained.

I groaned, "I've messed up, Oscar."

"What happened?"

So, over the past few minutes, I explained everything, from when I got drunk, to him kicking me out of his apartment. He sat there in silence for a bit, to process everything, while I bit my nails and tried to figure out what to do next.

"Do something for him," He suggested.

I frowned confused, "What'd you mean, 'do something for him'?"

"I mean, like take him somewhere, like a fair, or a zoo or something, and then explain to him that your sorry for everything."

I smiled, but then shortly after it disappeared, "He'll never agree to come with me."

"Look, I'll talk to Michael, Calum and Ashton. We'll figure something out." Oscar smiled.

I stood and gathered up my things.

"Go get him tiger,"
