I groaned. The last thing I wanted to be was noticed. But in a way, I should've expected it.
There was no point in making a fuss, as it would get me no where. So instead of sulking, I called up Emily to see what she was doing.
I dialled her number and it rang a few times, before she picked up, "Hello?"
"Hey Em," I smiled, even though she couldn't see me.
"Millie! How are you?" she gasped through my speaker.
"I'm good. Are you busy today?"
"No," she groaned, "Why?"
"It's time for a shopping spree, we need a catch up." I sighed, biting my short nails.
"Okay, I'll meet you in half an hour,"
"Okay." We exchanged our goodbyes before I turned off my television and walked to the bathroom with a towel in my hand.
I chucked off my clothes and hopped in. Not having much time, it was a quick shower, and before I knew it, I was out and looking through my wardrobe for a suitable outfit.
I settled on some black ripped skinnies and a grey long sleeved crop top. I threw them on along with my underwear, and then took my wet hair out of its messy bun.
It had dried partly, so I gave it a quick brush and added a red bandana, tying it at the top.
I then applied some concealer on any blemishes and spots and a coat of mascara. I looked through my mound of shoes and picked out my old grey vans, slipping them on my small, size five feet before glancing at the clock.
It read '12:24', which indicated that I had approximately six minutes, so I brushed my teeth quickly and grabbed my phone before going downstairs.
I figured I'd grab something to eat when I'm out, so I got my car keys and made my way to meet Emily.

"Em, this is nice," I complemented a turquoise, silk dress.
She nodded, "So, what's happened since 2012?"
"We saw each other a couple of weeks ago, not years," I chuckled, "but nothing. I mean, I'm sort of known now, I guess."
"What'd you mean?" she frowned.
"I turned on the t.v this morning, and I was everywhere, it was weird,"
She shrugged, "I mean, you were kind of expecting it. Weren't you?"
I nodded slowly, "I don't know."
I sighed and turned back to the rack full of clothes in front of me. We stopped the conversation and converted onto another, "So, have you spoke to your dad lately?"
"Have I heck. I hate the pants off that man."
"Mil, it wasn't his fault. He's done nothing wrong here," she sighed.
"Yes he has. He's an idiot and a cheat, of course it's his fault. I mean, if your dad cheated on your mum, would you say it wasn't his fault?" I raised an eyebrow at Emily.
"Okay okay, I can see where your coming from. But he was in a real bad time," she scowled.
"Have a laugh," I scoffed, "No need to go and sleep with another women though. I have no sympathy for that man, end of."
She sighed, putting the ugly top she had picked up back on the rack.
"I'm in need of a Starbucks," I laughed and she nodded eagerly.
We didn't end up getting anything from Topshop, so without another word, Emily and I left to go to Starbucks. It was a short and quick walk, and before I knew it, the door was chiming above our heads and I was ordering a Chocolate latte and a few muffins.
I took a seat opposite Emily and starting breaking bits off my toffee muffin, chewing slowly.
"Mums out on a business trip this weekend, and so I'm having a house party," she informed me, "Your welcome to come if you want."
"I'll be there. What time does it start?" I darted my eyes over to the old man who was sat reading this weeks newspaper.
"Around 7ish," she coughed and I nodded, finishing off my muffin an latte.

"I'll see you soon," I shouted to Emily, as she dropped me off at my front door. She waved and drove off, as well as I make my way inside.
It was getting pretty late, so I decided to call up Luke to see how his day had been.
I dialled his number and he picked up almost immediately, "Millie?"
"Yeah. How are you?" I breathed, shifting onto the sofa.
"I'm good, just recording a few more songs for the album. What are you doing now?" he asked.
"Ordering food and then going to sleep," I laughed.
"Okay," he paused, "Michaels finished recording so I'm gunna have to go. I'll come and see you tomorrow though, love you."
"Love you too," I mumbled and the call ended.
Later on, I decided to call up Dominoes and order myself a pizza for dinner. And then minutes later it came and I ate it whilst watching Pretty Little Liars on Netflix.
By the time I had finished and gave the apartment a tidy up, it was nearly ten. And I could feel my eyes dropping slowly.
So without a second thought, I locked the front door and turned off the tv, before making my way upstairs to bed.
I stepped out of my crop top and jeans, and replaced them with a white t-shirt and some baby blue shorts. And with that, I hopped into bed and fell asleep quickly.
