———————————————————————It's been a long seven years for Izuku. But all his hard work had paid off in the end, earning him so much to offer than he would have expected just being a simple employee at his company. But now he was the CEO, the first chairman finding him a better fit in taking the position than his own son. It was a lot Izuku had to learn working above his peers. He managed and it was easy to know what tasks someone as a CEO had to do. He didn't have a lot of free time on his hands, but he could do as he pleased when it came to taking a break. Those were only occasions to him, Izuku was a busy body and couldn't even stand staying at home when he was at work due to a cold. It was so much to do.
It wasn't immediately after the breakup with Shouto, but eventually him and Katsuki started dating. But now that they had become official, things between them went south. Katsuki always seemed to be busy on his phone and didn't pay much attention to Izuku unless he wanted sex or was bored with his phone. He even seemed agitated whenever he returned home. And that's when the blonde would spend his time in their guest bedroom.
All Izuku could think about in his time of solitude was the great times he had with Shouto back in middle and high school. Oh how he wished he could turn back time and fix things. He wished he hadn't gone behind his lover's back. At the end of the day, Izuku was aware that life wasn't fair. It didn't help the fact that he felt that large cavity in his heart.

Izuku steps out of the car. After having a busy meeting discussing what would be the next step to keeping the company stable, he had so much to do. His mind wandered throughout the trip on the elevator. He snapped out of it once the elevator stops and opens up. There he was greeted by a woman at the front desk. Her hair messily tied into a bun and her cerulean blue cat eye glasses slightly down her nose. "Good afternoon Mr. Midoriya", she greeted with a pleasant ring in her tone. "Did your meeting go well?"
"It was fine. Thank you for asking Suzuki."
She chuckles, "of course sir. Oh, some mail was dropped off right before you arrived and there is a invitation for you!" She searched along her desk to look for the item and picks up the cream colored envelope once she did. "Here you go." Izuku takes the invite and glances over it. Gold detail designs spiraled the perimeter of the paper. The words "You are invited~!" in gold cursive lettering. He grins at it and glances up quickly at the ginger. "Thanks Suzuki. Keep up the good work."
Suzuki blushes at the praise but does her best to brush it off as she thanks him before sitting down. Izuku enters his office and closes the door behind him with his foot. His attention stuck on the envelope. He picks up a letter opener and slides it across the top for its content. Inside was a postcard with the following:
To Mr. Midoriya
You are invited to a special event held by the Aoyama family on May, 9th, 2021 for the new children's hospital in Yokohama. We hope to see you (and possibly a plus one~) there in support of this project.
Sincerely,
Yuuga AoyamaP.s.–the party starts at 8:00 pm. Don't be late mon amie~!
"Heh, you're doing alright Aoyama." Izuku smirks as he reads the name. He hadn't heard from his old classmate in such a long time. A very flamboyant yet...strange individual. He could see that Yuuga has been busy running the family business. And doing very well with it, especially with all of the good things he's seen through the media. Plus one? Katsuki has been a bit silent towards him. Snappy if Izuku tried to make a little conversation. Izuku figured it'd be best to scrap that idea out of asking if Katsuki would like to go. This party would also probably be a good stress reliever from home.
