They took a taxi together to the apartment that they once lived in with one another. He was a little surprised that Shouto was still living there. But apparently, Shouto was going to be moving out soon and into a penthouse. "Sorry for the mess", Shouto apologized, "I've been pretty busy with moving and getting rid of some old stuff."

"Ah it's fine! I'm a bit shocked that you are still living here", Izuku confessed.

"Wasn't my intention at first. But my growing climb to fame kept me busy from house hunting. I got comfortable staying somewhere I'm familiar with."

He peeks his head over from behind the closet door to see his ex standing at the door awkwardly. "Well don't just stand there", he chuckles, "make yourself at home." Shouto holds his hand out to take the still man. Izuku's cheeks fills with red as he removes his coat in a skittish haste. This moment may have just been a blessing for him. He also felt nervous being back in Shouto's presence. It's been such a long time and they've both grown up and changed physically and—or—mentally.

"Wow. It feels a bit strange being back here", Izuku says as he makes himself comfortable on the floor (since the couches were removed). Shouto comes over and sits next to him. "I know what you mean. It's very nostalgic for me."

      "Heh, is that so?"

"Yeah. You do remember that we picked this place out together. Right?"

Izuku hearts thumps hard against his chest. He does remember the two of them picking this nice apartment together. It was meaningful to him at the time because Shouto also had a say-so for what he wanted in the apartment and how he was starstruck by it's beautiful interior. It was cute, it was like Shouto was a kid in a candy store. Yeah, how could he forget one of those valuable memories? "Yes. I do remember that. And now we're leaving it behind."

"I am. You've already left it behind."

An awkward silence lingers over their heads after Shouto says this. His face turns scarlet red and he plays with a lick of red hair. "S-sorry. I didn't mean to sound like an asshole."

"It's okay", Izuku assures. "I wanted you to stay here anyways. It's your call on what you decide to do. Besides it's just one little apartment. Nothing special."

"It was special since we both chose this place", Shouto quips. He shakes his head and gets off of the floor. The greenette felt a slight pinch in his chest watching his ex leave his side. He soon relaxes once he sees that Shouto was grabbing a bottle of wine in one hand and two wine glasses in another. "It's too awkward between us", he says as he takes a seat again. "Let's loosen up a bit. That is if you're up for it."

Shouto was right, their minimal small talk was awkward. Especially while sitting in a nearly empty living room. "What the hell. It's not going to hurt anyone."

"Sounds good", Shouto says while effortlessly pulling the cork from the bottle. "And while we're at it. Let's avoid talking about our old life together. Let's just talk as good old friends."

Friends. That word left a bitter taste in Izuku's mouth. It was foul. He couldn't put him and Shouto in a friend category. It didn't feel right in his eyes. But Shouto has been comfortable with him all of this time. That was usually something difficult to do when Shouto hasn't talked to you for such a long time. "If that's...what you want", Izuku finally says. And even though he meant it–it still hurt.

By the end of their second wine bottle. The two were drunk beyond belief. Their conversations made no sense anymore. Yet they would laugh, even if something wasn't funny. Izuku found it amusing how Shouto laughed more and was bubbly instead of his usual aloof and stoic exterior. "Uh! And she's soooo fucking annoying", Shouto gurgled. A small laugh following next. "Like–she just nags and nags over nothing. And it's worse that her voice is really high pitched. Hurts my fucking eardrums! I need a new manager."

Izuku cackles, "I know what you mean. Someone telling you what to do twenty-four seven without a motherfucking brrreeaaakk. It's exhausting."

"Uh! You sooo get me", Shouto gurgles. He flops to the side. His head laying in Izuku's lap. Izuku was quick to put his hand in Shouto's hair and run his fingers through the soft tresses. He massaged Shouto's scalp once in a while. It earned him a nice relaxing moan.

       "Izuku?"

       "Y-yes?"

       "....where did we go wrong?"

He stops running his fingers in Shouto's hair and looks down to meet heterochromatic eyes. They shined like jewels, it was intoxicating to stare and get lost in them. God, he looks so kissable at the moment. "Is that a question you want me to answer", Izuku asks, "or are you just asking out loud?"

Shouto shrugs his shoulders. "Doesn't matter. But I'd like your opinion."

"...honestly, I have no fucking idea. I'm sure I started it. But I don't have a clue as to why I did what I did."

"Everyone looked up to our relationship", Shouto continues. "They wanted the little "fairy tale" we were able to make into a reality. Dating someone since junior high and being able to stand each other without an argument was extraordinary. And as our love seem to get poured down the drain. Love was still powerful enough to keep up together. Until the end that is. But...I don't even understand why we became like this."

Shouto was quick to sit up. It startled Izuku at the sudden movement. But it was washed away once he saw how glossy Shouto's eyes were. He was ready to cry. "You don't know how lost I became once we broke up. It felt like a damn nightmare", he sobs. "Even when I occupied myself. I couldn't stop getting over the feeling of you being happy with someone else. Let alone Bakugou, of all fucking people."

Shouto puts his arms around Izuku and lays on him. Izuku shifts his legs so that the man could be comfortable between them. Shouto digs his face into the junction of the greenette's neck and shoulder. It felt like a safe place for him to be in Izuku's arms. It was a relief for him. It was mostly likely the alcohols making him think this way. But even as his conscious tried to shut him up. His drunken side was dominant, and he was just ready to let everything out that he's been holding for all these seven years.

And Izuku listened. Not once did he make fun or bring up his relationship with Hanta. This was about them. Their past. Even if everyone was a part of that past in some way. "I-I want you to be happy", Shouto hiccups, "I do. I r-really do. But I can't help these overwhelming feelings. They wake me up at night. They haunt me during the day at work. I can't focus. I can't move on."

Shouto pulls away and keeps his eye contact on the beige carpet floor. "It sounds so stupid saying all of this out loud. But it's the whole true. I still love you after everything that was caused by you and myself. After all of these years. Izuku? Izuku? Are you actually listening to everything I'm saying?!"

Izuku grabs a hold of Shouto's face and makes him turn his head towards him. There's a serious glint in his eyes. And there was also a lascivious spark behind them that made Shouto shiver the longer they sat there. Just making eye contact.

"I am listening", Izuku answers after the silence felt like forever. He leans his head down a bit. The smell of wine lingering off of their breathes. "And you don't know how much I've been dying on the inside. Waiting for the perfect moment to tell you that I can't stop thinking about you either. Your smile, your personality, your beauty. Everything about you, I've missed that. I still love you. It's been a long painful seven years."

He pecks Shouto's mouth. He smirks as Shouto tries to kiss him back quickly. He slowly moves them. Shouto laying on his back while he hovers above him. "I want you. I need you. As long as you'll allow that."

Shouto was stuck in a bewildered state. But he nods his head, nervous and extremely excited for what the outcome was going to be. "Yes. Yes, I want you too. I really really need you~."

It could be the wine making the two become such polar opposites to their normal personality. Yet neither of them decided to care. They just wanted to drown in each other's lustful desire.

Sorry if there's many grammar and spelling errors. I wanted to write this before I head for bed.
