"Hey, Y/N!" Kosuke rushes over to me from across the classroom, dodging multiple chairs getting pushed out by leaving classmates."Wanna walk home together?" He asks. He was basically radiating sunlight, he looked like he just won a life.
"Sure!" I hoisted my book bag over my shoulder and left with Kosuke.
As I was walking with Kosuke I felt like someone was staring at me. We left the first story and exited out the front doors.
"Hey, what about Sango? Shes not coming?"
"She has to leave early because something happened with our parents."
I hum in response. If it wasn't Sango who was it?

The walk was mostly silent, we both brung up multiple topics but the conversations died quickly. We decided to stay quiet until we could say "bye" to each other when we approach our houses.
He breaks the silence. "You busy later?"
I try to recall what I was sorting out earlier during second period. I was making sure I have my whole day planned so it wouldn't be a mess.
"Uh, no I don't think so."
Kosuke balled up his fists and beamed. "Please come over and have dinner with my family! They would be so happy knowing I've gotten my first girlfriend!"
"G-Girlfriend?!"
He sweat drops and rubs the back of his neck. "Sorry, shoulda worded that differently...my parents almost never see anyone over because of my...personality. They know I have male friends but they also know I don't have any female friends. They'll be so proud of me for expanding the gender of my friends!"
"Ah, I see. I guess it wouldn't hurt to stay over for a few hours."
I walk over to his yard. He opens the door but allows me in first. He held his right arm behind his back and held his free left arm out, motioning for me to walk in his house.
I roll my eyes and laugh. "You're so weird."
I mock him and curtesy, slightly lifting the sides of my skirt up. I take off my shoes before continuing to enter the house. He does the same and takes me into some part of his house.
It smelt like apple pie.
"You'll be able to meet my mom, I only know she's home because she always makes apple pie when she knows I've been doing my best. My father doesn't know how to cook so he specializes in fixing stuff so he's like-kinda a mechanic!"
We walked into his kitchen that had a similar layout to mines. The walls were a nice cream color, a fresh, perfectly, shaped pie laid on the table that was basking in the light of the sun setting outside. A tall woman with long black hair lingered at the kitchen washing dishes.
"Hi, Mom! How are you doing?"
"I'm doing fine, Ko dear. How was scho- Oh, you've brought a friend!" She beams as she places the last dish down.
She dries her hand and makes her way over to me. She didn't look that different from Kosuke.
"Its very nice to meet you! What's your name? You can call me Ms. Kosuke!" She shakes both of my hands.
"Hi, Ms. Kosuke. My name is Y/N." I smile at her hyper behavior. He was right, she is excited to meet a friend of the opposite gender.
"So how did you meet my son?" She motions to Kosuke who was already getting a slice of apple pie.
"I live right next to you guys so I ran into him on the way to school. I heard you guys move in this morning."
"Oh what a coincidence! Now you and Kosuke can see each other everyday!~ We moved in last week but I've decided to let the two go to school today so they don't miss any more days."
"How have you guys been situated? Your home is lovely."
She cuts a slice of apple pie for me.
"Thank you so much, Y/N! You're an absolute sweetheart! The trip over here was a bit bumpy because Sango and Kosuke kept fighting. Getting ourselves settled in was a bit easier. We are sorry if we caused any noise last night!"
I thank her and take the plate. "No it's alright, the walls are thick so I couldn't hear anything!"
"Alright, thank you, Mom! You're making me sound like I'm loud and obnoxious! I'm taking Y/N up to my room."
"Behave yourselves!" I could hear the sound of a knife being set down on a plate.
"We all have our hobbies so don't judge me." He opens the door and turns on the light.
His room was filled with posters of both 2-D and 3-D shows. He had anime figures and gaming consoles. The walls were a sky blue color, in the corner sat a twin sized bed with black covers.
He walked over and sat in the bed, patting the spot next to him.
My eyes looked over to a small rack of clothes.
He nervously ran over to the corner, hiding the clothes.
Cosplay was never something I've done but it's something I wanted to try.
"The cosplays are really cool! Did you sew them yourself?"
He nods as he puts another chunk of pie on his mouth.
"Yeah...totally cosplay." He whispered, only a bit was audible.
"Yup. Every cosplay you see on that rack is all hand-man by me. All the boys at school made fun of it for me because they said 'Sewing is for women.' like I don't remember a needle and thread being made for women." He exclaims, waving his fork around.
"I think it's amazing how you can make all of these clothes all by yourself. That's true talent." I smile and look at his clothing rack.
He stares at my figure that was dozing off at the multiple figures in his room. She was the first one whos complimented him on his sewing. It's taken him years to get this far and he's finally found someone who's willing to go out their way to compliment him and the thing he finds dearest.
"T-thanks." He wanted tell her all those things he but he didn't want to ruin the moment and make it sappy.
"Hey, you gonna eat that?"
