Only to be met by no one, cause he would rather hide,
I call for my baby, but he will not come here,
I hear no noise around him, but I can feel him near,
I do my nightly stretches, the soreness fades away,
He watches from the shadows, he knows that I will stay,
I close my eyes as I feel my sore muscles soften,
His eyes glow as he watches me so often,
I feel him move swiftly, now has come the time,
He jumps out at me, my precious feline.
