The Curse of ACHLYS

Chapter 4- Truth

"A cemetery to meet what a strange man" Shane said. I haven't asked Shane about his dream but I was curious so I asked him what type of dreams he saw. "There was a palace in which there might be a ritual going on in which a girl was assassinated and I try to save her, I am seeing the same dream since my childhood but wasn't able to look at the face of the girl. But when I met you it's your face I'm seeing in that girl" he told me.

It was weird for both of us. But to know the truth we have to meet Humphy again. So we decided to go there, but for some safety precautions we kept pepper spray, knife with us. Because we can't trust him. The weather was good. It was a shiny day. Shane was with me the whole day. At first I thought that I'm troubling him in my personal problems but then I remembered what Humphy said, It's about us not just me.

It was 8 o'clock we thought to reach the cemetery before time. We were on our way although there was no sign of bad weather earlier but now black clouds were covering the sky. The speed of wind was unexpected. I didn't believe in spirits but I was worried that in such a bad weather we were going to cemetery to meet a strange man. Shane got that I'm worried so he hold my hands and interlocked my fingers with his. It was a relief that he was with me.

"It's all gonna be alright. You don't need to worry I'm here with you and I won't leave you whatever the situation will be" he said. What a lucky girl I'm that I have Shane with me. It was him who made me calm in this terrible situation. I didn't know what our relationship will be after meeting Humphy as ge said the story revolves around us, that does means that there is chances that Shane leaves me when we met Humphy. But I will consider it my fate.

I was busy with the battle of my brain and heart and didn't realised that we have reached our destination. Shane kissed on my forehead before entering in. He was really sweet as sugar. But know I need to make me more attentive because I didn't know what is waiting for me inside.

It was all black, no lights were there. "What a terrible place". We were unable to see anything. "Is there anyone in here?" Shane asked. Suddenly we saw some light at the end of the cemetery. So now we have to walk across the cemetery. When we reached closer I saw it was Humphy holding a lantern. "So you two are really here" he said. His eyes were full of tears when he saw Shane.

He kneeled down and bend his head on ground pointing towards Shane. "What are you doing this, please get up" Shane said. He was following every order given by Shane, that was strange both for me and Shane. "Can you please explain what's going on here Humphy" Shane asked him. Come with me lord Shane I'll explain you. We followed him. He stopped outside a small cottage. "Please do me a honor by stepping in Humphy's house".

It was neat amd clean inside. "Please sit here" he told us pointing towards small peice of mat. "What's the matter Humphy" we asked after settling. "Look what I'm going to tell both of you know is quite unreliable and may sound stupid to you. But you have to believe in everything I am about to say, there is no other way for both of you. She will definitely come again and destroy everything, everything single thing that you love".

Humphy's hands were shaking by fear. But from whom did he fear. Who was "She". Who will come. Both Shane and I was confused. "I had been waiting for both of you since six centuries, now I can't wait anymore to rest in peace". Humphy laughed by looking our shocked faces. "No-no I'm not an insane man, everything I'm saying is true".

"I have been waiting for six centuries for you two to born. I know everything that has happened to both of you till now. You both are reincarnated with the same face which you had earlier. It's funny isn't it for 21st century people to believe in such things, but don't worry I have a proof of it". He showed us a painting painted on a rock, both Shane and mine mouth fell open. There was us in the painting dressed like a prince and princess.

"It's a painting painted by a famous painter of Hayle empire. You both are incarnated and have a purpose for it. Both of your parents have died just because if a curse. I have been wandering around for six centuries because of a curse. It all has started with her and it has to end with her" Humphy said.

"Shane you were Sinasta Hayle born in Hayle empire in 1409 and Lyla you were Lorentia Rudeen, daughter of Albani Rudeen friend of Sinasta's father and king of Hayle empire Olaus Hayle".

We listened him carefully but there was a question in my mind which I was eager to ask for a long time "Who was the one behind the curse which you were mentioning? " I asked him.

Fear run across his body he was at first unable to say the name but he did.

"She is the greatest witch of all time, no witch in the history can stand against her. Her name was.."

"ACHLYS".
