The Curse of ACHLYS

Chapter 6- La Lauire Forest

It was already 11 o'clock both Shane and me didn't want to get late so we both decided to leave the place. Also we were considering this whole a story. "Thank you Mr. Humphy but we didn't think we will be able to continue listening this so you better try to convince someone else."Shane said smiling to Humphy.

So, you both think I'm joking huh.. fine, but when you will witness this yourselves and need me I will definitely help you. You can find me in the La Lauire Forest.

We both left the cemetery as soon as we can. "So, do you believe any of the thing that Humphy told" Shane asked me. "No, I didn't think there was any truth in his story" I said hesitating because somewhere in my heart I can imagine the scenes that he told us. It looked like I was there only when this was happening but it can't be true. It was six centuries ago. My brain was telling me nit to believe but my heart start fearing ACHLYS.

"Well you lookin tired you should go home and take a rest" Shane said diverting my mind from the conflict going on between my heart and brain. "See ya tomorrow." I said giving a slight smile. He was now bending to reach my height and gave a kiss on my forehead "Good night love".

He just call me love. My heart was bouncing now. Blood flowed to my cheeks making them red. "Good night" I replied smiling.
I unlocked the door of my house and my mouth fell open. My whole house was a mess now. Things scattered around, looked like someone was in here. I grabbed a iron rod which I used to keep in my house for any emergency.

I slowly take a round of the house without making a sound but I couldn't find anyone there. "But who can it be and how did they came in" I muttered. "Should I call Shane" the question was roaming inside my mind. "No I shouldn't it's already late I will tell him about this tomorrow." I then collected everything and cleaned my home.

That was a terrific night. There was a shadow of woman alone in the woods having a crow with her. "Hello Lyla" the shadow said. "Who are you" I asked. "You didn't understand even now. You are such a stupid girl but I envy you. You have my precious Shane with you darling" she said smirking. "A-Achlys" my lips were shaking while saying her name.

And my eyes opened. It was a nightmare worse than ever. My whole body was covered with sweat. "What the fu..." why did that bitch Achlys appeared in my nightmare. I saw the clock it was 7, I was late again. I quickly get up I didn't want to miss the school. I wanted to meet Shane and tell him everything about yesterday night and my nightmare.

When I reached school Shane was as usual waiting for me on our regular spot. "Umm.. Shane we have a problem. Yesterday when you left I found out that someone had been in my house. Everything was messed."

"What!! why didn't you told me earlier. This is such a serious matter Lyla you could've told me bout this" Shane said angrily. Even when he was angry he was looking handsome. "I-I didn't want you to get disturbed" I told him with a low voice."You never disturb me love. I love you and that's what makes me to take your worries from you." Oh my god so the devil for others is such a romantic man. I feel good whenever he calls me love.

"Good morning class, there's a nature trip for you guys in the la lauire forest. I hope everyone will join the trip. It will be tomorrow in which we will discover the nature and bonfire will be there in night." I heard Ms. Peterson speaking. "Will you join this trip?" I asked Shane. "Yes, I'll and you should also join. You shouldn't worry that Humphy will be there. I will stay with you every second of the trip." This kind of answer was expected from him. He never runs form anything. He was strong and wise man who fights instead of running.

Next day early in the morning all my classmates and few teachers started the journey. It was a nice day for nature trip. The weather was appropriate. Small beam of light falling on us under the canopy, it might be my most beautiful journey enjoying nature and now by a surprise I also have a boyfriend with me in my journey.

We were holding hands all over the trip stating each our classmate that we are together now. Shane had a lot of followers being the most handsome guy and me an average looking girl. I still wonder how it happened and anyways it is true. I'm now a girlfriend of the mkst handsome guy and many girls are jealous of me now.

My legs were aching now cause we all have walked too much which was beyond our limit. But we also learned about many medicinal plants in the forest observing the beauty of the forest. Now it's night and we all will have prepare our tents. Later we'll have dinner together alongside bonfire. It was a relief that we haven't meet Humphy here but who knows what happens next.

It was a night full of stars, no one can witness any cloud in the sky. But suddenly the weather started changing. Thunderstorms, lightning, sky fully covered from black clouds it was the same weather I experienced on the prom night. There was a rush all over. Everyone was now protecting their tents. My and Shane's tent was adjoining so we both stayed together.

And the weather became normal without any casualty. I wondered if this was natural or something's going to happen. Ms. Peterson now counted the number of students there. It was 34!! We all were 35. Who's missing. Is this anyhow related to Achlys or Humphy. Is this all happened because of me. All these questions were roaming inside my head. But Shane calmed me.

After 5 minutes it became clear that Rose one of my classmate is missing. Everyone now teamed up for finding her. Me, Noah, Shane, Luna were in one team. We headed to the south of La Lauire. After walking few steps my legs were now on something fleshy. It was all covered with dead leaves. My hands were shaking with fear. We all sided the leaves to find what's under.

It-It was Rose!!!! Covered with blood. I screamed. Now fear on everyone's face. Now I couldn't handle my tears, so I started crying. "Please stay clam everyone don't panic she is still breathing let's quickly take her to the hospital." Shane said. We send Noah and luna to call the teachers amd Shane and me stayed with rose.

My eyes were now stuck on a rock. "What's wrong?" Shane asked. "I guess there's something written" after saying we both moved towards the rock. There was something written with blood I guess..... Blood of Rose.

"THIS IS JUST A BEGINNING ~ Achlys"
