The Curse of ACHLYS

Chapter 7: When we first met

It was Achlys. She did that to Rose.
I opened my eyes. I was in the hospital bed. Shane and Ms. Peterson was sitting on the couch. "Ohh dear, I was so worried about you. How're you feeling?" Ms. Peterson asked me. "What happened to me. Is Rose alright?" I asked and my was was breaking.

I looked at Shane for a reply. "You fainted after yesterday's incident. Rose is alright. She is out of danger now but doesn't get consciousness yet. We have called the cops to record her statement." he said. I was relieved that she is alright. If anything happened to her I would blame myself all my life.

Ms. Peterson soon leave us alone in the room. My mind was already flooded with questions so I asked to Shane about the incident." She was attacked on the head  badly but she is alive, it looks like she did this as a warning for us." Shane said. "But I'm still not sure that if it is Achlys then why is she keep hiding from us". I was also thinking this.

"Sir we have got a visitor." The staff said. "A visitor, but who could it be?" we both looked at each other in confusion. When the visitor came inside I almost fainted again. It was Humphy. But why he is here now,after all this is his fault and how did he know about this. "Ughhh my mind is going to explode now" I mumbled.

"How're you doin girl, you are admitted in the hospital just after this small incident" he said laughing. "What do you mean, this isn't a small incident for us, sure it can be small for a psychopath like you." I growled at him.

"hey girl keep your voice down. You can't be mad, this is just starting, now she's back and you both have to face much more trouble." "But why this is happening to us" I said tears in my eyes.

"This is your fate and you have to deal with this, but you can't do it alone. You can't underestimate the power of her so you will need my help. So keep your ego and science aside and just listen to me if you want this to stop." Humphy said.

"Okay fine tell us what we have to do. But don't you try to play tricks with us." Shane said confidently to Humphy. "So first finish the incomplete story."

Achlys was angry that Sinasta didn't give her any kind of attention. She tried hard but couldn't get closer to him. Even wild animals were more close to Sinasta than Achlys. Sinasta always treated her as a guest of his father. But then came Lorentia.
Her father was an old childhood friend of Sinasta's father.

Sinasta's POV:

I was playing with a rabbit and then a carriage was coming from far away. I was informed by king that his friend will come amd stop by for some days. His daughter will also come join us in our traditional rituals.

Well existence of any woman doesn't bother me. But my heart was beating fast now. The carriage stopped. "Come on help the Princess." I heard the maids saying. "It's alright I'm not a child of 10 years." I heard her. Woahhh... I felt like a goddess was just standing in front of me.

She was a brunette. Her hair colour was just in contrast with her face highlighting her face features even more. Her smile was the most pleasant and appealing thing I found. Anyone can fall for that. smile. She was just like a flower. Spreading happiness around.

She was now coming towards me. "You must be prince Sinasta. Pleasure to meet you I'm Lorentia princess of Rudeen empire. " Her voice was so innocent. Her eyes was the most beautiful thing on her face. Ohh I was forgetting to greet her. I stopped my imagination and replied. "Pleasure to meet you too, thank you for giving us a chance to serve princess of Rudeen empire." Now her smile was even more widened.

"This forest is so beautiful. This scene is worth seeing. I can't miss this." She said. I noticed it was sunset,surely she can't miss the sunset here. It's the most beautiful sight of this forest."You all can go to the palace I will reach there soon." She said pointing to the servants. "Well I can accompany you in the sight seeing." I said nervously.

I haven't been nervous in front of any woman till now but this was a different case. I don't know what was going inside me but it was weird. "Umm.. Is this rabbit yours" she asked cheerfully. "Yes he is berry, you can play with it. I will not mind." She hold berry carefully in her hands as lightly as she was holding her own kid.

"He is lovely."She said rubbing his hairs. She left berry let him run the woods. She was playing with him now. For the first time in my lifetime I wished to be replaced by berry. She was running towards berry as a child. What I was seeing now was not a Princess but a child who loves animals.

So she was an animal loving person just as me. All I can hear now was her laugh. It felt like everything is stopped, the birds chirping, the noise from the palace everything was silent now.

We walked towards the palace. She was holding berry in her hands in the way of palace. There was silence between us now. I wanted to break it but didn't now what to say. "I have heard that you have a beautiful palace. Nothing like that is built till the date." she praised pur kingdom. "Yes it was built by the finest Labour of all time." I said slightly laughing.

The way to palace which once looked great is now looking very short. We kept walking in the setting sun both trying to learn about each other. Its was a wonderful evening of mine.
