Love is for a man or woman or love for the family you were born with, hey, even your pets.
There are many types of love. How do we know that we love when it comes to the opposite sex?
Do we confuse love and lust?
How often, do we say, ' I simply love this'
Love cannot be so superficial, can it?I lie on my bed, mind swirling with thoughts of you
My heart beats faster and I think that's my cue
No, it's not a pending heart attack
Today's been a day filled with flakI wait for your text, or your call
But did I make an effort to call you at all
No, I am of the old school
The boy goes first, oh, what a foolIn this day and age, where there's no difference between the two
In fact, if you snooze, someone will get there before you
Take a chance and snatch him up
Stare at him for hours like a 'pup'Love comes sneaking in like a thief
The feeling of happiness some times, is brief
That's because, with time, we think too much
Because we are all, know it alls and suchGrab and tie with rubber bands
When one lands in your hands
There has be room to breathe and move
Being held too tight, makes you run, this I can proveLove should be fun and light
You need to wear shades, it's so bright
Hang on to love when you find it
It's equal on both sides, if you're bitWhen love is gone, don't despair
The last thing you do, is be fair
Don't hang on, to what's not there
Stand in front of the mirror, it all starts here!
