I grew up almost believing that I was a boy
I considered myself to be my Father's son
For the mere fact that I wanted to be, a Man like you
A man beyond compare
A man so daring and bold
A man so considerate and warm
A man so strong and vibrant
A man with a Presence
A man I base others on
A man who is a hero is every way
A man I idolised just below God
A man we love so dearly
A man who knows his kids so well
A man I want to beThe man, I have seen as my role model
You emulate all that is good in this life
You cherish and protect and care for us
There is none like you and I have the utmost respect for you!In primary school, I was once asked, who I want to be when I grow up
My reply, was my dad
When asked why, I replied that you are my hero
I want to be just like youYou thought me how to be calm in a crisis
How to think before I act
How to use my fists, without getting hurt
How to use words as a weapon
How to swear 🙊 🙉🙈So Happy Father's day to a man I hold
In high esteem, a man so bold
So bright, like a beacon of light
Who always makes me feel alright!I love you my awesome Dad 🤗❤
I speak for my siblings too! We all love you very much ❣
Any man can be a father. Not every father can be a Dad!
