Can you ever have it all?

It doesn't really matter, who I am
It doesn't really matter, who you are
No matter where I go, noone gives a damn
On a long, lonely path, somewhere far

I will climb in the presence of beautyFor in the world around me, all around are, the things, I don't seeHeavy my burdens that I carry, around as my dutySometimes, I forget that there used to be me

I will climb in the presence of beauty
For in the world around me, all around are, the things, I don't see
Heavy my burdens that I carry, around as my duty
Sometimes, I forget that there used to be me

Dare I take a chance and give in, into the joy around me
Is this the day, I shake my shoulders free
And say go to hell, none can tell me who to be
So I open my eyes, and I take the first step or three

Into a world filled, with colors and a place to rest
My weary feet, my weary heart, my weary soul
I will renew myself and prepare for the test
To come back to earth, to my home in a fish bowl!
