Treasure Hunt Down Under

Finn POV:

I was in the bridge with Dad, Danny Boy and Maddy when we saw it, or more so saw her. Of course Dad being Dad straight away decided to kidnap her, to hold hostage against the Nektons, because he had somehow come to the conclusion that they were here to steal 'his' treasure. With that he deployed the bubble.

Fontaine POV: 

I tried to swim off, but I wasn't fast enough. I knew what was coming next... the bubble, I started sinking as the water was drained from around me. 5 pirates descended from the ship with an extra hook for me and my mimic knight. Not again. 

Hammerhead POV:

"Arrrrr! Nekton, I'm taking you hostage so your family won't steal my treasure" I told her, thinking to myself: why am I such a genius?

"Why are you telling me your plan again Hammerhead? And why are your plans always the same?" she replied.

She ruined it. 

"Smiling Finn, take our hostage to the holding room of darkness." I said, ignoring her questions while being proud of the name I came up with on the spot. I really am a genius.

Fontaine POV:

I was hooked up and dragged into their moon pool, hanging once again. Most of the crew left me hanging there, not Finn though. I wasn't going to admit it but he is really cute, and I may have a crush on him, not that I was ever going to do anything about it.

"Hello again gorgeous" he smirked, ooooh that smirk, "What's this? The third time you have been there now?"

"Just help me down Pirate Boy" I sighed. 

He did as he was told pulling up a make-shift step and offering me his hand, which I took because getting out of this knight is so difficult. When I put my hand in his I tried to hide my face because I couldn't help blushing. Unfortunately my looking down cause me to slip a bit, how embarrassing, but lucky I was holding his hand or I would've fallen flat on my face. 

He walked me to 'the holding room of darkness', this is why pirates aren't allowed to name things, and it was even less welcoming this time. Pirate-boy was about to say something when Hammerhead yelled out for him.

"I'm sorry Fontaine, not sorry to see you, but sorry to meet on these terms again." He sympathetically said as he closed the door and locked me in.

I went to sleep after about 15mins, realised there was nothing to do so I went to sleep, may as well recharge. It must have been an hour before I woke up, I felt a presence near me and when I rolled over I saw him sitting next to me looking down at me. Naturally I screamed, and sat up.

"No, no, shhhhhhhh. It's ok princess." he whispered, his hand's held in front of him in a surrendering way.

"Were you watching me sleep?" I whisper-screamed.

"I...no...well...maybe...yeah. You just seemed so happy and peaceful that I didn't want to wake you." He looked down as he said this, slightly blushing, but also ashamed. Then he put his hand on my waist and leant in a bit, our faces were about 6 inches apart, and I too blushed. 

"Fontaine I really am sorry, I never mean to scare you, well maybe sometimes, it is funny."

I looked up, making eye contact with his striking blue eyes.

"Have you heard from my family?" I asked, kind of panicking, realising that I had been here for a while.

"Yeah, they are out talking to my dad, I had to stay here and guard our troublesome prisoner" he says, smirking, shooting me a wink and slowly moving closer to me.

"So you figure that you should either watch me sleep, because you're some kind of creep, or that we should talk?"

"Well yeah" he responds, doubting himself. Good, this is how I wanted him to take it, as if I was shutting him down, so what I was going to say next would surprise him.

"Ok, I know your favourite colour is green, you can't play trumpet, you never wanted to be a pirate, you are sometimes a good person..." I say, counting on my fingers.

"Hey! More than sometimes." He said, lightening up.

"Oh and something else... what was it?"

"Why don't you tell me?" 

"That's it," I snap my fingers "you are head-over-heels for me." I look back into his eyes smiling. Then he surprised me, he started tickling me right next to where his hand had been resting this whole time, I hadn't even realised that he didn't take it off. I fell backwards laughing.

Finn POV:

I started to tickle her and her laughter bounced off the walls of the room. Her smile lit up my world, she was more beautiful than any treasure I had ever seen. 

"Stop. Stop. Finn, stop" she said between laughter. 

Eventually I did stop and laid down next to her. She was still slightly giggling every now and then, I sighed happily.

"3 out of 5 right," I say, she rolls over and gives me a questioning glance, "I can play trumpet, just really badly, and I'm a good person most of the time." She smiled and began to laugh again. "Ok, my go, you have spent most of your life underwater, you can play the guitar pretty well, even if it is you being bias. You are also incredibly smart and insanely beautiful, your favourite colours are green and pink, and... you like me back?" I raised an eyebrow at her as I rolled over to come face to face with her, never had I wanted to kiss her this much.

"You will never know Pirate Boy." She said as she stood up, I of course got up with her.

*BANG!*

We ran to the door of the cell and out of the room to the moon pool, Will Nekton (Fontaine's Dad) had just thrown our hunk of junk Red Claw with my dad in it, into our moon pool room.

"Dad!" Fontaine said and she leapt back into her knight and into the water.

"Arrrrrrrr! Next time Nektons." My Dad said as he stormed out of the room. Will turned and swam off in his yellow knight. My eyes were on Fontaine as she went to swim away, I could've sworn she shot me a glance before diving. I ran after my dad.

"No treasure?" I ask him when I caught up.

"Not this time boy, but next time we will take the Aronnax as our treasure" he walks off laughing to himself, and I am once again left with nothing to do but think about her.
