Chapter 1: Welcome to Melromarc/Meeting the Heroes

(Y/N) pov

Richard: "Richard the Rooster."

(Y/N): *aiming the coach gun at him* "Okay Richard, how about you tell me, where am I or better yet what time period this is. And I might not blow your head off... much."

Richard: "First, lower your weapon. I can assure you, I mean no harm."

As Richard was talking, I started to wonder two things, one, does he except me to believe that and two, how is that mask's mouth moving?

(Y/N): "Why should I believe you?"

Richard: "Because if I wanted to hurt you..." *snaps his fingers*

After snapping his fingers, everything around us turns to static for a few seconds before everything returns to normal with only one difference. Next to Richard is a familiar handsome face... Me.

(Y/N): *lowers the gun a bit* "Is this some kind of sick joke?"

(Y/N) Clone: "Sorry compadre, but this is real."

(Y/N): *walks up to the clone* "So then, you're me..."

(Y/N) Clone: "And I'm you."

Me and my clone begin to copy each others moves such as taking a step back then forward, raising our coach guns into the air, saying an one liner, and punching each other in the face.

(Y/N): *Wipes the blood off his mouth* "Damn, I'm good."

(Y/N) Clone: "Your not wro-"

Richard: *Interrupts the two while balling his fist up* "I would have done so already."

A faint bit of static surrounds me, but once it dissipates, I see my clone on the ground, mutilated beyond recognition. I then back up in shock from Richard doing... well whatever it was.

(Y/N): (frighten) "What the hell was that?!"

Richard: "Just a small demonstration of my power. Now are you convinced?"

(Y/N): *calms down and puts the coach gun away* "Yeah, yeah."

Richard: "Good. Now to deal with this."

He then walks over to the dead body and does some weird sci-fi stuff. When I go over to them, the body just disappear leaving nothing behind not even an outline in the grass, almost like this never happened.

(Y/N): "So about my questions?"

Richard: "Right. Currently you are in the country of Melromarc. *points to the castle in the distance* Over there is the capital city. As for the time period, this is a medieval like time period, although this is not part of your world's timeline."

(Y/N): "Explain."

Richard starts to explain more about this world like the history of the kingdoms but focused on Melromarc specifically, some of the legends like the four cardinal heroes and the waves of calamity, and some of this world's game like aspects such as a leveling system.

(Y/N): "So essentially this is like one of those fantasy mmorpg games."

Richard: "Basically."

(Y/N): "That's pretty cool, but as much as I would love to stick around and play this game, I got other things to kill and deal with. So if you don't mind, I'm gonna find a way out of this world."
