CHAPTER TWENTY EIGHT THE PATH TO FREEDOM 3

After his talk with Ymir he started the rumbling. He made sure he was still on paradis when the rumbling started so when it ended he could be with Annie. He had looked at her that last time and promised that he would come home to her. They had been through so much and now this was the last stage then they could help to start to build a nation out of paradis. He would keep the nines power in Titans, but get rid of everyone's else's  curses of getting turned into a Titan. The only ones would be anyone's from the current Titan shifters blood line, but no more walls on this island. He wanted people to be able to see the land in front of them with out the walls being there. He smiled at the thought.

Right now people were trying to stop the rumbling, but Eren wasn't going to keep it going much longer. This was a test and the last rumbling. He didn't want to kill anymore then he had to and he has already done enough. He then felt Zeke come out of the rumbling. Eren knew he didn't have time, so he did the one thing he told himself he would do. Free Ymir. He entered the paths again and saw her standing next to him. She smiled up at him and nodded. "Good bye Ymir." He said. "And thank you. Eren yeager." She said and then she made something out of sand. It looked like a timeline of events. "Your girlfriend will be waiting for you. As of now. The rumbling is stopped. The eldians can't turn into Titans and the shifters are the only ones that can. I hope you and your girlfriend await your baby." She said and then she turned into sand and fell onto the floor. Eren looked around the paths for the last time. Taking in the area and then he closed his eyes and the crystal he was in broke. When he opened his eyes he saw the walls were gone people on the island were laughing and clapping hands and then he heard his name. He turned and saw Annie running up to him. She was being followed by Sasha, Connie, Ymir, historia, Armin and mikasa and Jean. He stood and braces for a tackle. Which he got. Annie ran into him and knocked him down. "You idiot." She said crying. "Eren why did you start the rumbling?" Mikasa asked. "I did it because I wanted to unite you guys and the rest of the world. I watched as you fought in front of the world for everyone to see. Now no eldians can turn into Titan. The only people who can are the shifters and once they die that power is lost forever. We as a race can now start over as humans. Not devils." Eren said hugging Annie back. They nodded understanding. "Well we still have work to do for this island to become a nation and with us far behind I wonder who will Allie with us?" Armin said looking at the sky. "Hey Armin. Did you for fill you dream?" Eren asked him. "No not yet." He said. "Good because once this island is ready we are all heading to the sea to hand out for a while." Eren said with a smile on his face. Armin nodded and half smiled. "Let's do it." He said. "Oh by the way Annie." Eren said looking down at his girlfriend. "Do you have something to tell me?" Annie looked up and nodded. Her tears were still wet on her face, but Eren brushed them off. "Yeah I'm pregnant." She said and everyone started to congratulated the couple. Eren hugged her and kissed her. They couldn't be more happy at this very moment.
