CHAPTER SIXTEEN TROST 4

NOBODY POV
It was the day of their trial and Eren and Annie were little concerned with what might happen. The scouts were their best option, but they needed someone inside the military police and that where Reiner comes in. He knew that he had to join the military police then he was going to transform and help Eren and Annie escape the walls because he couldn't help Bertholt in time, so he wanted to get Eren and Annie home at least, but he was conflicted. He really liked it here, but his training told him that these were devils, but he just couldn't see it. Then he started to think that Eren and Annie didn't want to leave either. They seemed to like it and Eren even got mad for bringing up marly. He wanted to ask them and if they wanted to stay then they stayed, but if they wanted to leave then they leave. That was the plan. Then he was going to find the person who ate Bertholt and see who it was and decide from there.

Eren and Annie where just sitting in their cell playing patty cake.

This went on for hours. Then they saw Ymir and Armin walk in. "So did you tell Erwin that's your both Titan shifter?" Annie asked while putting her hands down. "Yeah." Ymir said. "Armin wanted answers and since you guys have a few minutes before your trial. We thought you guys could give him a run down." "Sure." They both said. "Ask away Armin." Eren said. "What's this Titan shifter ability?" "It's a power people get once they eat someone who has it. You have to be a Titan though and it spinal fluid. If you don't eat enough of it then you want get it." Annie said. "Who did I eat?" "Bertolt. Don't feel bad he was a brainwashed person. He thought you were all devils. We were trained to think that way. He's also the one that kicked down the wall." Eren said. Armin looked shocked. "S-so. I now have his Titan which was the colossal Titan. Right?" "YeP." Annie said popping the P. Armin started to look like he was thinking about something. "Oh there's no point in me telling you this, but normal Titan shifters die after thirteen year, but that's only made up, so they can pass it down to someone else. Them being another person earning like in marly or just passing it on to someone who the shifter picks." Eren said. Armin just took in the information. "Make sure Erwin doesn't tell anyone."  Annie said. They nodded. "Well we have to go, so you guys at the trial." Ymir said and they walked out. Eren and Annie just stood up and waited for Levi and Erwin. They had been given Gray clothes for their trial. The didn't have shoes on either so it was weird to walk, but they had been through hell. Killing and killing. Then Hange and Some guy with a scruffy beard came in. "Alright it times for your trial." Hange said really happy for some reason and the shifters just sweatdropped. Hange opened the cell and said "we have to put cuffs on you. Sorry." They nodded and waited for them to be cuffed. Hange put cuffs on their feet and hands. Then they started to walk up some stairs and then the guy started to sniff them. "Why the hell are you smelling us?" Eren said. "Oh that mike. When you have seen enough people die you start to find out some quirks about yourself." Hange said laughing. Annie had a "stay away from me." Look in her face and was leaning away from Mike.

After a few minutes of walking they made it to a set of doors. "We're hereee." Hange sang while spinning around. Mike opened the door and mike pushed them inside and they saw a church looking room. Annie noticed that the military police were on their right and the scouts in their left. A guard took them and pushed them really hard. Eren wanted to punch the guard, but held back. He walked them to the middle of the room and he "kneel." They kneeled and another came with a metal pillar and locked them in place. Then a man with grey hair and grey beard walked out. He put his jacket next to him. He picked up a paper and said "alright let's begin. Since your under the recruits branch. This will be looked over by me. My name is Dolis Zackery. Your names are Eren yeager and Annie Leonhart." "Yes sir." They both said. "Do you agree to answer all my questions?" "Yes sir." "Your cooperation is appreciated." He said. "Now. Can you control your Titan power?" He said. "Yes we can. Sir." Annie said. "Ok. Now can we hear from the Military police and the scouts. First the military police." "Thank you sir. My name is Nile docut. We want to study and run tests on them. Them kill them." He said. Eren and Annie's eyes went wide. "Now let's hear from the scouts." "Thank you sir. My name is Erwin smith. Our plan is to have both Eren and Annie join our ranks. We will go out on an expedition and you can look over the report yourself. If they prove to be useful and be trusted with their Titans they will help us plug up the wall." Erwin said. "Yeager and Leonhart will be supervised at all times?" "Yes sir." "Then I have made my decision-." Before he could finish a merchant spoke up. "We shouldn't poor our tax money into these people. They can't be trusted." Then one of the people who was dressed in what looked like a robe. "Oh shut up you heretic. The gods in the walls shall protect us." "Shut it you wall loving freak." Then Eren Devi now was the best time to have him get beat up, so he acted mad. "Shut you merchant pig. Are all your friends just as bitchy as you!" Eren yelled. Annie noticed Levi coming up behind him. She looked away and closed her eyes. "Shut up you Titan." The merchant said back. Eren snarling at him like a wild dog. Then Eren got kicked right in the face by Levi. His tooth went flying. Levi kept beating him. Then grabbed his hair and said "know your place." Then threw Eren back. Annie opened her eyes and saw the smile on his face. He was healing, but he knew it had worked. "Gentlemen gentlemen. We are working a case here. Please restrain yourselves." Zackery said. They apologized and kept quiet. "Good. Now as I was saying Eren yeager and Annie Leonhart will be put into the scouts ranks. That is all." He said and Eren and Annie were helped up by some scouts. They were helped into a room and Levi and Erwin entered soon after them. "I'm sorry we had to get violent." Erwin said. "No it's fine. I had to make it seem like I got mad at what he said so I could get beat." Eren said. Annie was holding Erens hand. "Eren are you sure your ok?" She asked. "Yeah. My tooth and face and healed." He said. "We aren't going to have you under supervision, but we want Armin and Ymir under supervision. We didn't bring that up, but. You will be in Levi's squad to make it look like you are." Erwin said. He then knelt down to our height and his hand for us to shake. Annie shook it first then Eren. "Welcome to the scouts." He said. "Thank you." They said back. Then Hange came in. "Look what I have." She said really exited. She was holding Erens tooth. "Why do you have that shitty glasses?" Levi asked. "Because it a sample. Oh and we are going to be testing Annie,Ymir, Armin, Eren right?" Hange asked facing Erwin. "Yes." He said back. Then Levi stood right in front of them. "You brats don't hate me right?" "No sir." They both said. "Good." He said and walked back to Erwin. "We are going to be staying the night here and then you will be going to the old scout base for testing." Erwin said. They nodded. "We have a room for you ready. It's a couple floors up and since I am assuming here. That you two are a couple you will be sharing a room." He said. They nodded and walked towards the door. "Ah which room is it?" Annie asked. "Room 45B." Erwin said And they walked out.

As they were walking they held hands and just walked in peacefully silence. Annie knew that since this was probably going to be their only time alone in a while Eren might get a little exited. They kissed and made out a lot, but they hadn't done anything sexual yet because of you know what they were doing. "Hey earth to Annie." Eren said. Annie shook her head and looked at him. "We're here come on." He said. They entered the room and said a bathroom and bed. "Sweet." Annie said hoping onto the bed. "It's nothing like the zone." He said. I scoffed. "Yeah. I miss hunting." Annie said. Eren chuckled. "Maybe we can hunt later sometime." He said. "Hey Eren." Annie said. "Yeah. What's up." "How come you didn't mention Reiner to the others?" "Because we still need him to trust us and then we can give his Titan to someone else if he's still dead set on bringing back the founder." Eren said. Annie nodded and sat up. She then walked over to Eren and pushed him against the wall. Eren looked at her like she was crazy. "You really wanna?" He asked. She kissed him and that gave him his answer. Let's just say their night was filled with love.
