CHAPTER TWO TITAN GAMES 2

As that named was called I felt like all the air got knocked out of me, but I kept a calm face. I looked at Annie and we nodded. As Annie walked up to the stage Effie said "We gave out first pick now onto the boys." She said. But before she could put her hand half way in the bowl I said "I volunteer." She looked at me and then said "That makes things a lot easier. Come on up here." She said in a happy tone. I just started to walk forward and up the stage. As I reached Annie we stood shoulder to shoulder and that's when I noticed that there were cameras everywhere. Effie then asked for a round a applause, but no one clapped. They just stood still and didn't do anything. Silence. Then they put up fives fingers in the air. It was old way of saying good bye, but right now it meant go, be great and good bye. Effie just sighed and started to walk off and the public officers said "follow" and we followed her to a big golden door. It opened slowly and inside there was red carpet that and she lead up to a room labeled room five and she opened the door and lead us inside. Inside the room there were to beds a bathroom and two closets. "Change and be ready for dinner in an hour." Effie said then walked out. "You wanna go into the shower first." I asked. "Sure." Annie said then grabbed a towel and went through the closet and picked out some clothes and went into the bathroom.

After twenty minutes Annie came out in a white shirt and her hair up in messy ponytail and sweats. "It's your turn now." She said and I nodded and grabbed a towel and black shorts and a white shirt and went into the bathroom.

After eighteen minutes I came out and saw Annie holding my knife. "Any reason why you are holding my knife?" I asked with a smirk on my face. She screamed and threw the knife in the air and it landed on floor. "You suck." She said. I just walked over and picked up the knife and layer down on my bed. "Can't wait until we are on that damn train and just fighting. I hate just waiting." He said. She nodded. "Eren do you really think that we can win this?" She asked with a dark expression on her face. I got up and hugged her and she started to cry. "Shhh, if we want to get out of Marley and live on that island then we have to win. Annie if we win will will eat the others and help the island people." I said holding her as she cried into my shirt. I was think of things that might make her calm down and then I lifted her head up and I could see her red puffy eyes and her wet tear marks on her face and then I leaned in and kissed her. I could tell that she was surprised, but then she started to kiss back. Then we broke the kiss and we looked at each other. Then laughed. "Should probably get ready." Annie said with a smile on her face. I laughed and smiled to and kissed her and got up. I then grabbed black jeans and a black shirt and a leather jacket. Annie grabbed a black dress. She went into the bathroom to change. I decided to change right were i was standing hoping Annie would take some time, but of course I am only half way done when Annie comes out. I am shirtless standing right in front of my crush. Annie just stared. Then said "was I meant to see this?" She asked blushing. "Uh maybe." I said smirking and walking up to her. She blushed, but smiled and rapped her arms around my neck and kissed me on the lips. Then said "you need to finish changing." She said and I smiled and she let her arms fall and I then put on my shirt and tucked it in and then grabbed my jacket. I looked at the clock and noticed that we only had five minutes before dinner. "Hey Annie we have five minutes. What do you wanna do?" I asked her. "Let's just wait and talk for a bit." She said. I nodded. "I think we might have a chance with the combat training you taught me and the knife and hunting skills I taught you." I said. "Yeah I think we will have a chance then we can leave Marley and make it to Paradis and live there." She said. "Let's come up with a plan if we win and then have a plan for the island." She and I nodded.

After five minutes Effie knocked on the door and me and Annie looked up and she said that dinner was ready then we come back to the room and pack, then get onto a train and head to capital. We nodded and walked out and followed her to the dinning room.

After we ate we headed back to our room and we packed and I grabbed my knife and put it in my belt. I looked at Annie and she was holding a bag and she said "let's get going." And I nodded and walked up to her to and wrapped my arms around her waist and she wrapped her arms around me chest and I leaned down to kiss her and she leaned her head up and kissed me. After about thirty seconds we broke the kiss and I asked "are we dating or what?" "If we win then we are one hundred dating, but until then we are lovers. How about that?" She asked me. I smiled and said "as Long as I get to kiss you, I am fine with whatever." "Good. Now let's go. We have a train to catch." She said and walked towards the door.
